connector. The MIC 2 (48) input (on the rear panel) accepts
1/4" connectors. All accept balanced and unbalanced microphones.

The MAIN OUTPUT (34) jacks connect to the main amplifier.

The BALANCED MASTER OUTPUT (99) jacks connect
the mixer to main amplifier using standard cables with 1/4”
connectors. We recommend using balanced cables if the
distance to your amp is 10 feet or more.

The REC OUTPUT (36) jacks can be used to connect the
mixer to the record input of your recording unit, thus
enabling you to record your mix.

The BOOTH OUTPUT (35) jacks allow the connection
of an additional amplifier.

1. POWER: Once you have made all the equipment connections to
your mixer, press the POWER SWITCH (26). The power will turn
on and the POWER LED (27) will glow RED.
2. CHANNEL 1: Switch (9) allows you to select PHONO 1/LINE 1
(46) or the LINE 2 (45) input. CHANNEL SLIDE (10) controls
the input level of this channel.
3. CHANNEL 2: Switch (11) allows you to select PHONO 2/LINE 3
(43) or the LINE 4 (42) input. CHANNEL SLIDE (12) controls
the input level of this channel.
4. CHANNEL 3: Switch (13) allows you to select PHONO 3/LINE 5
(40) or the LINE 6 (39) input. CHANNEL SLIDE (14) controls
the input level of this channel.
5. CHANNEL 4: Switch (15) allows you to select either the LINE 7
(38) or LINE 8 (37) input. CHANNEL SLIDE (16) controls
the input level of this channel.
6. CROSSFADER: The CROSSF ADER (18) allows the mixing of one
source into another.

Crossfader; as well as RF-45, which has a 45mm travel from side-to-

11. TREBLE (2) and BASS (3) controls allow you to adjust the tone
of MIC 1 and MIC 2. MIC 1 LEVEL (5) controls the level of MIC 1
while MIC 2 LEVEL (4) controls the level of MIC 2.
12.CUE: By connecting a set of headphones to the HEADPHONE (32)
jack, you can monitor any or all channels. Press CUE ASSIGN (20)
buttons for Channels 1 through 4 and select the Channel(s) to be
monitored. The respective LED indicators will glow. Use the CUE
LEVEL (31) control to adjust the cue volume without changing the
overall mix. By moving the CUE PGM PAN (30) control to the LEFT
you will be able to monitor the assigned cue signal. Moving the
control to the RIGHT allows you to monitor PGM (program) output.
13.DISPLAY: The DISPLAY (21) indicates the MASTER output of the
left and right levels.
14. SOUND EFFECTS: Six different sound effects (UFO, TRON BLAST,
SIREN, GAS, MACHINE GUN and EMERGENCY) may be added to
your mix by pressing the SOUND EFFECTS CONTROL BUTTONS
(98). The volume of the effects can be adjusted using the EFFECTS
LEVEL CONTROL (97). The pitch of the effects can be increased
or decreased using the EFFECTS SPEED CONTROL (96).

8. EQUALIZER: This unit features dual 7 band GRAPHIC EQUALIZERS
(8, 22) that allow you to adjust the sound to fit any room. Activate
the equalizer by pressing EQ BUTTON (28) (EQ LED is illuminated).
By adjusting any of the 7 LEFT equalizer slide controls (8), you can
cut or boost the tonal characteristics of the sound coming from the
LEFT speaker by ±12 dB. Adjusting any of the 7 RIGHT equalizer
slide controls (22) allows you to cut or boost the tonal characteristics
of the sound coming from the RIGHT speaker by ±12 dB. Deactivate
the equalizer by pressing the EQ BUTTON (28) again (EQ LED is OFF).
9. OUTPUT CONTROL: The level of the MAIN OUTPUT (34) is
controlled by the MASTER (24) slide. Activating the MONO (23)
button (MONO LED is illuminated) converts the overall output to
mono. The BOOTH (29) control adjusts the level of the BOOTH
OUTPUT (35).
HINT: BOOTH OUTPUT IS USED BY SOME DJS TO RUN MONITOR SPEAKERS
IN THE DJ BOOTH. IT IS ALSO USED AS A SECOND ZONE OR AMP OUTPUT .
NOTE: REC OUTPUT HAS NO LEVEL CONTROL. LEVEL IS CONTROLLED WITH
THE CHANNEL SLIDES OF THE SELECTED CHANNEL(S). TONE IS CONTROLLED
VIA THE EQUALIZERS.

10.TALKOVER: The purpose of the talkover is to allow the program
playing to be muted so that the mic may be heard above the music.
The MIC/TALKOVER SWITCH (7) controls MIC 1 and MIC 2 and
has three settings.
• When MIC/TALKOVER (7) is in the BOTTOM position,
MIC 1, MIC 2 and TALKOVER are all OFF.
• When MIC/T ALKOVER (7) is in the CENTER position, MIC 1
and MIC 2 are ON. MIC INDICAT OR (6) glows/T ALKOVER is OFF.
• When MIC/TALKOVER SWITCH (7) is in the TOP position,
MIC 1, MIC 2 and TALKOVER are ON and the volume of all

Trennschalter (50) betätigt wird. Den Masse-Trennschalter
nach RECHTS legen, die Leistung wieder einschalten und horchen,
um zu bestimmen, welche Position ein Signal ohne Grundgeräusch
und Brummen erzeugt. Den Masse-Trennschalter in Masseposition
halten, falls der Geräuschpegel in beiden Position unverändert bleibt.

1. STROM EIN: Nachdem Sie das Gerät am Mischpult angeschlossen
haben, drücken Sie auf die Taste POWER (26). Der Strom wird

9. AUSGANGSREGELUNG: Der Verstärkerausgangspegel AMP
OUT (34) wird vom Schieberegler MASTER (24) geregelt. Beim
Aktivieren der Taste MONO (23) (die MONO-LED erleuchtet)
ist der Ausgang Mono. Der Regler BOOTH (29) justiert den
Pegel des BOOTH OUTPUT (35).

jeweilige LED-Anzeigen werden aufleuchten. Betätigen Sie den
Regler CUE LEVEL (31), um die Mithörlautstärke einzustellen, ohne
dabei die allgemeine Mischung zu beeinträchtigen. Indem Sie den
Regler CUE PGM PAN (30) nach LINKS schieben, können Sie das
zugewiesene Mithörsignal kontrollieren. Nach RECHTS schieben
wird die PGM- (Programm-) Ausgabe kontrolliert.
13. DISPLAY: Die DISPLAY (21) zeigt entweder die linken und rechten
Ausgangspegel des Regiepults MASTER an.
14.SCHALLEFFEKTENTEIL: Sollte man auf die SOUND EFFECTS
CONTROL BUTTONS (98) (Schalleffektenregler) drücken, so
kann man sechs verschiedenen Effekten (UFO,
KERNEXPLOSION, SIRENEN, AUSPUFF , MASCHINENGEWEHR
und NOTALARM) zu dieser Mischung hinzufügen. Bei
Benutzung des Lautstärkereglers EFFECTS LEVEL CONTROL
(97) kann man das Volumen der Effekten regulieren. Die
Tonhöhe der Effekten wird erhöht oder vermindert bei

Según la configuración de su sistema, a veces el hecho de aplicar la
tierra/masa resultará en una vía de señal con menos ruido. A veces,
el hecho de separar la tierra puede eliminar bucles de tierra y zumbido
para crear una vía de señal con menos ruido.
1. Con el mezclador prendido, escuche el sistema en modo de
reposo (sin presencia de señal) con tierra aplicada (GROUND
LIFT SWITCH (50) en la posición IZQUIERDA).
2. Apague el aparato antes de desplazar el GROUND LIFT
SWITCH (50). Separe la tierra del marco moviendo el GROUND
LIFT SWITCH a la DERECHA, prenda el aparato de nuevo y
escuche para determinar cual de las posiciones le dará señal sin
ruido de fondo y sin zumbido. Mantenga el GROUND LIFT SWITCH
en la posición de puesta a tierra si el nivel del ruido permanece igual.

1. ENCENDIDO: Una vez que haya efectuado todas las conexiones
de los equipos a su mezclador, oprima el INTERRUPTOR DE
ENERGÍA - POWER SWITCH (26). Se encenderá la unidad así
como el DEL ROJO de ENERGÍA - POWER LED (27).
2. CANAL 1: El interruptor (9) le permite seleccionar la entrada
PHONO 1/LINE 1 (46) o LINE 2 (45). El CHANNEL SLIDE (10)
(cursor corredizo de canal) controla el volumen de salida de este canal.
3. CANAL 2: El interruptor (11) le permite seleccionar la entrada
PHONO 2/LINE 3 (43) o LINE 4 (42). El CHANNEL SLIDE (12)
(cursor corredizo de canal) controla el volumen de salida de este canal.
4. CANAL 3: El interruptor (13) le permite seleccionar la entrada
PHONO 3/LINE 5 (40) o LINE 6 (39). El CHANNEL SLIDE (14)

6. ATENUADOR DE TRANSFERENCIA: El ATENUADOR DE
TRANSFERENCIA - CROSSFADER (18) le permite mezclar una
fuente en otra. El aparato PMX -1600 incluye un crossfader `
asignable. Los interruptores ASSIGN (17, 19) le permiten seleccionar
el canal que transmitirá la música por cada lado del crossfader.
7. El interruptor ASSIGN (17) tiene 5 posiciones (OFF, 1, 2, 3, ó 4) et le
permite seleccionar el canal 1, 2, 3 ó 4 para transmitir la música por
el lado IZQUIERDO del crossfader. El interruptor ASSIGN (19) tiene
5 posiciones (OFF, 1, 2, 3 ó 4) y le permite seleccionar el canal 1, 2,

12.TALKOVER: El propósito de la sección talkover es de permitir al
programa de ponerse sordina para que se pueda oír el mensaje
del micrófono por encima de la música.
• El interruptor MIC/TALKOVER (7) manda MIC 1 y MIC 2, y
tiene tres arreglos. Cuando el interruptor MIC/TALKOVER
(7) ocupa la posición INFERIOR, el MIC 1/MIC 2 y la función
talkover están ambos apagados.
• Cuando el interruptor MIC/TALKOVER (7) ocupa la posición
CENTRAL, el MIC I y MIC 2 están activados, el INDICADOR
MIC (6) se prenderá pero la función talkover está apagada.
• Cuando el interruptor MIC/TALKOVER (7) ocupa la posición
SUPERIOR, el MIC 1/MIC 2 y la función talkover estarán
prendidos y el volumen de todas las fuentes salvo las
entradas Mic serán reducidas por 16 dB.
13.CUE: Conectando los audífonos al jack de HEADPHONE (32), podrá
monitorear cualquier canal o todos los canales. Oprima los botones
CUE ASSIGN (20) para los canales 1- 4 para seleccionar el canal o
los canales a monitorear y sus indicadores DEL respectivos se
prenderán. Use el control CUE LEVEL (31) para ajustar el volumen
cue sin afectar la mezcla global. Moviendo el control CUE PGM PAN
(30) hacia la IZQUIERDO, Ud podrá monitorear la señal cue asignada.
Moviéndolo a la DERECHA podrá monitorear la salida del programa.
14. LOS EFECTOS DE SONIDO: Seis efectos de sonido diferentes
(OVNI, EXPLOSION AT OMICA, SIRENA, DISPARO,
AMETRALLADORA y URGENCIA) pueden ser añadidos a su mezcla
al apretar los pulsadores SOUND EFFECTS CONTROL (98) (control
de los efectos de sonido). Se puede ajustar el volumen de los
efectos con el EFFECTS LEVEL CONTROL (97) (control del nivel de
los efectos). Se puede aumentar o reducir el tono de los efectos
con el EFFECTS SPEED CONTROL (96) (control de la velocidad de
los efectos).
8. COMPENSACIÓN: Esta función comprende dos GRAPHIC
EQUALIZERS (8, 22) (COMPENSADORES GRÁFICOS) de 7 bandas
para permitir el ajuste del sonido para cualquier habitación. Para
activar el compensador, oprima el EQ BUTT ON (28) (el DEL EQ se
prenderá). Al ajustar cualquiera de los 7 mandos corredizos del
compensador IZQUIERDO (8), se puede reducir o aumentar las
características tonales del sonido saliendo del altavoz IZQUIERDO
de + 12 dB. Al ajustar cualquiera de los 7 mandos corredizos del
compensador derecho (22), se puede reducir o aumentar las
características tonales del sonido saliendo del altavoz DERECHO
de + 12 dB. Desactive el compensador oprimiendo otra vez el EQ
BUTTON (28) (el DEL EQ se apagará).
9. CONTROL DE LA SALIDA: El volumen de AMP OUT (34) (salida
del amplificador) se controla por el cursor corredizo MASTER
(24) (principal). La activación del botón MONO (23) (el DEL mono
se prenderá) transforma toda la salida en mono. El mando BOOTH
(29) (cabina) ajusta el volumen de BOOTH OUTPUT (35) (salida
de cabina).

In base alla configurazione dell’impianto di riproduzione, talvolta il
collegamento a massa dà luogo ad un percorso del segnale più
silenzioso. Altre volte scollegando la massa si possono eliminare gli
anelli di massa ed il ronzio, creando il percorso di massa più silenzioso.
1. Ad alimentazione elettrica del mixer inserita, ascoltare l’impianto a
riposo (in assenza di segnale) con la massa collegata
(INTERRUTTORE DI SCOLLEGAMENTO MASSA (50) posizionato
a SINISTRA).
2. Dopodiché, prima di agire sull’INTERRUTTORE DI
SCOLLEGAMENTO MASSA (50), disinserire l’alimentazione
elettrica. Scollegare la massa spostando a destra
l’INTERRUTTORE DI SCOLLEGAMENTO MASSA, inserire
nuovamente l’alimentazione elettrica e procedere all’ascolto in modo
da stabilire in quale posizione si ottiene un segnale privo di rumore
di fondo e di ronzio. Se l’intensità del rumore risulta identica in
entrambe le posizioni, mantenere l’INTERRUTTORE DI
SCOLLEGAMENTO MASSA in posizione di collegamento a massa.

1. ACCENSIONE: Dopo che sono stati eseguiti tutti i collegamenti degli
apparecchi con il miscelatore, premere POWER SWITCH (26). Verrà
attivata l’alimentazione e il POWER LED (27) diventerà ROSSO.
2. CANALE 1: L’interruttore (9) permette di selezionare gli ingressi
PHONO 1/LINE 1 (46) o LINE 2 (45). Il CURSORE CANALE
(CHANNEL SLIDE) (10) controlla il livello d’uscita di questo canale.
3. CANALE 2: L’interruttore (11) permette di selezionare gli ingressi
PHONO 2/LINE 3 (43) o LINE 4 (42). Il CURSORE CANALE

6. CROSSFADER (Dissolvenza incrociata): Il CROSSFADER (18)
permette di miscelare una sorgente con un’altra. Il PMX -1600 è
dotato di un crossfader trasferibile. Gli interruttori ASSIGN (17, 19)
permettono di selezionare il canale che effettuerà la riproduzione
da ciascun lato del crossfader.
7. L’interruttore ASSIGN (17) ha 5 impostazioni (OFF, 1, 2, 3 o 4) e
permette di selezionare il canale 1, 2, 3 o 4 per eseguire la
riproduzione dal lato SINISTRO del crossfader. L’interruttore
ASSIGN (19) ha impostazioni (OFF, 1, 2, 3, o 4) e permette di
selezionare il canale 1, 2, 3 o 4 per eseguire la riproduzione dal
lato destro del crossfader. Con l’interruttore ASSIGN impostato su
OFF, detto LATO del crossfader sarà disattivato.

9. EQU ALIZER (COMPENSATORE): Questa unità comprende due
compensatori grafici GRAPHIC EQUALIZERS (8, 22) di 7 bande per
permettere di regolare il suono in qualunche camera. Per attivare il
compensatore, premere il pulsante EQ BUTTON (28) (l’indicatore EQ
LED si illuminerà). Quando si regola qualunche di 7 commandi
scorrevoli (8) del compensatore sul lato SINISTRO, si può ridurre od
aumentare i caratteristiche tonale del suono del altoparlante sulla
SINISTRA di + 12 dB. Quando si regola qualunche di 7 comnmandi
scorrevoli (22) del compensatore sul L ATO destro (22), si può
ridurre od aumentare i caratteristiche tonale del suono del
altoparlante sulla DESTRA di + 12 dB. Si può disattivare il
compensatore premendo di nuovo il EQ BUTTON (28) (l’indicatore
EQ LED si disattiva).
10.CONTROLLO OUTPUT: Il livello dell’AMP OUT (34) è controllato dal
cursore MASTER (24). Attivando il pulsante MONO (23) (il LED
mono si illuminerà) e renderà tutta l’uscita mono. Il BOOTH
CONTROL (29) regola il livello dell’uscita BOOTH (35).
SUGGERIMENTO: L’USCIT A BOO TH È USA TA DA ALCUNI DJ PER FAR
FUNZIONARE I MONITOR DEGLI SPEAKER NELLA CABINA DJ. E’ ANCHE
POSSIBILE USARLO COME UNA SECONDA USCITA ZONE O AMP .

11. CUE: Collegando un set di cuffie al jack HEADPHONE (32) è
possibile controllare uno qualsiasi o tutti i canali. Premere i pulsanti
CUE ASSIGN (20) per i canali 1-4 per selezionare il canale o i
canali che si desidera controllare e si illuminerà il relativo indicatore
LED. Usare il controllo CUE LEVEL (31) per regolare il volume del
cue senza influenzare la miscelazione globale. Muovendo sulla
SINISTRA il controllo CUE PGM PAN (30) si potrà controllare il
segnale di assegnazione cue. Muovendolo invece sulla destra sarà
possibile controllare l’uscita PGM (programma).
12.TALKOVER: Questa funzione permette di attenuare la riproduzione
del programma in modo che si possa sentire il microfono sopra la
musica. L’interruttore MIC/TALKOVER (7) controlla MIC 1 e MIC 2,
e ha tre impostazioni.

13. I controlli TREBLE (2) e BASS (3) permettono di regolare
correttamente il tono del MIC 1 e del MIC 2. Il LIVELLO MIC 1 (5)
controlla il livello del MIC 1. Il LIVELLO MIC 2 (4) controlla il livello
del MIC 2.
14.SOUND EFFECTS: si può aggiungere sei effetti sonori diversi
(ESPLOSIONE A TOMICA SIRENA, SCOPPIO, MITRAGLIATRICE,
EMERGENZA, DISCO e VOLANTE) alla sua miscela premendo i
pulsanti SOUND EFFECTS CONTROL (98). Si può aggiustare il
volume dei effetti usando il commando EFFECTS LEVEL CONTROL
(97). Con il commando EFFECTS SPEED CONTROL (96), si può
aumentare o ridurre il tono de effetti.
