INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on purchasing the GEMINI MOBILE PAK 201 DJ Kit. Each piece of equipment comes with instructions packed into the unit box. Prior to use, we suggest that you carefully read the individual unit instructions included with your equipment.
DJ KIT FEATURES:
• One CDX-602 Instant Start Frame Accurate Dual CD Player with Pitch Control
• One PMX-1100 Four Channel Stereo Preamp Mixer
• MRC-2 Road Case
• RCA Cables
CAUTIONS:
1. All operating instructions should be read before using this equipment.
3. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not open the units. There are NO USER REPLACEABLE PARTS INSIDE. Please refer servicing to a qualified service technician.
4. Do not expose units to direct sunlight or to a heat source such as a radiator or stove.
5. The units should be cleaned only with a damp cloth. Avoid solvents or other cleaning detergents. Do not use any spray cleaner or lubricant on any controls or switches.
6. When moving this equipment, it should be placed in its original carton and packaging. This will reduce the risk of damage during transit.
7. Do not expose these units to rain or moisture.
NOTE: EXCESSIVE VOLUME CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR STEREO SYSTEM AND SPEAKERS. KEEP VOLUME AT A
REASONABLE LEVEL.
CONNECTIONS:
Before making any connections, make sure all of the units have the power off. Before plugging in the power cords, make sure that the VOLTAGE SELECTOR on the CD player is set to the correct voltage (refer to the cd player instructions for more detail).
MRC-2:
Open the MRC-2 case and place the CDX-602 main unit inside the case. Next place the remote control and PMX-1100 mixer on the top section of the case and use the provided hardware to attach the gear to the case.
CD PLAYERS TO MIXER:
1. On the rear of the CD player are two sets of RCA output jacks. Using the provided RCA stereo cables, connect the LEFT side RCA cables CD player to the LN1 input.
2. Connect the RIGHT side CD player to the LN3 input on the rear of the mixer. Set the LN1/PH-1-LN2 switch on the face of the mixer to LN1. Set the LN3/PH-2-LN4 switch on the face of the mixer to LN3.
MIXER TO RECEIVER OR AMP:
1. The MASTER output jacks are used to connect the mixer to your main amplifier or stereo receiver LINE or AUX inputs using stereo RCA cables (included).
