INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on purchasing the GEMINI DISC-O-MIX 4.0 DJ Kit. Each piece of equipment
comes with instructions packed into the unit box. Prior to use, we suggest that you carefully read
the individual unit instructions included with your equipment.

DJ KIT FEATURES:

• Two CDJ-15 Instant Start Frame Accurate CD Players with Pitch Control

• One PMX-350 Two Channel Stereo Preamp Mixer

• DJC-1040 Road Case

• PM-100 Two-Way, Self Powered Monitor Speakers

• EM-50 Stereo Headphones

• GM-26 Professional Cardioid Microphone

• RCA Cables

CAUTIONS:

1. All operating instructions should be read before using this equipment.

3. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not open the units. There are NO USER REPLACEABLE
PARTS INSIDE. Please refer servicing to a qualified service technician.

4. Do not expose units to direct sunlight or to a heat source such as a radiator or stove.

5. The units should be cleaned only with a damp cloth. Avoid solvents or other cleaning detergents.
Do not use any spray cleaner or lubricant on any controls or switches.

6. When moving this equipment, it should be placed in its original carton and packaging. This will
reduce the risk of damage during transit.

7. Do not expose these units to rain or moisture.

NOTE: EXCESSIVE VOLUME CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR STEREO SYSTEM AND SPEAKERS. KEEP VOLUME AT A

REASONABLE LEVEL.

CONNECTIONS:

Before making any connections, make sure all of the units have the power off. Before plugging in
the power cords, make sure that the VOLTAGE SELECTORS on the CD players are set to the
correct voltage (refer to the cd player instructions for more detail).

CD PLAYERS TO MIXER:

1. On the rear of the CD players are RCA output jacks. Using the RCA stereo cables provided,
connect the LEFT CD player to the LN1/PH2 inputs on the rear of the mixer and move the switch
below the inputs to the LN1 position.

2. Connect the RIGHT CD player to the PH3/LN2 inputs on the rear of the mixer and move the switch
below the inputs to the LN2 position. Set the PH-1— PH-2/LN1 switch below the gain knob on the
face of the mixer to PH-2/LN1. Set the PH-3/LN2— LN3 switch below the gain knob on the face of
the mixer to PH-3/LN2.

MIXER TO SPEAKERS:

1. On the rear of the mixer are RCA output jacks. Using the RCA stereo cables provided, connect the
mixer’s MASTER outputs to the PM-100 speaker INPUT jacks on the rear of the right speaker.

2. Using the cable that is hard wired into the left speaker, connect the left speaker to the L-SPK jack
on the right speaker.

MIXER TO RECEIVER OR AMP:

1. The MASTER output jacks are used to connect the mixer to your main amplifier or stereo receiver
LINE or AUX inputs using stereo RCA cables (included).

HEADPHONE/MIC:

1. Plug the EM-50 headphone cable into the right front panel mounted PHONES jack.

2. Plug the GM-26 mic cable into the 1/4" MIC input (found on the left of the front panel).
