System requirements

• Personal computer equipped with SATA external port
running Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

External SATA enclosure for 2.5” SATA HDDs

Driver installation under Windows98SE/ME/2000

and Windows XP

• Start the operating system mentioned above

• Insert the driver CD into your CD-ROM drive. The setup

should start automatically. If by any reason it does not,
double click the file "Setup EXE" from the CD

• Follow instructions on the screen to complete the setup
successfully

Now connect the product (with HDD installed) to your
computer.

Driver installation under Mac OS

If your operating system is Mac OS 8.6 or above the driver will be
installed automatically. If you are running an older version of OS

you will have to f irst download and setup "USB MASS STORAGE
SUPPORT 1.3.5" from the SOFTWARE SUPPORT website:

http://www.apple.com/support

Warning: Before you disconnect the EE2-SATA-1 fro m your

system, you should always perform the following procedure:

• Click the icon with your right mouse button

• Choose "Safely remove hardware" from the popup me nu

• After your confirmation the message "Storage device can

now be safely removed from the system" will appear.

Only now you can disconnect the EE2-SATA-1 from the computer!
