1. General information
 
Dear customer, By purchasing a GEIGER Remote AIR handheld transmitter you have decided on a quality
product from GEIGER.
Thank you very much for your decision and the condence placed in us.
2. Guarantee
In the case of incorrect installation contrary to the operating instructions and/or constructional
modication, the legal and contractual guarantee for property damage and product liability
lapses.
3. Handheld transmitter specic safety information
Please observe following instructions in order to avoid damage to this product:
f Avoid impacts. f Do not drop the device. f Do not immerse in water or any liquid. Ensure protection against splashing water. f Never use cleaning agents or abrasive solvents. Clean the surface of the transmitter
with a damp cloth.

6. Insert/remove/replace battery
Remove the cover on the back of the handheld transmitter with a coin (turn counter clockwise) and insert the supplied battery or a new one. To close, put the cover back with a coin in clockwise
direction.
If the display doesn‘t light up if actuating one of the control keys, the batteries need to be replaced. Please use the same type of battery (CR2032).
7. Learning the handheld transmitter with a GEIGER motor
Please refer to the operating instructions of the motor for the learning of the handheld trans-
mitter with the motor and the setting of the end stops.
The handheld transmitter Remote AIR cannot be connected with the
Loxone Smart Home control.

8. Switch the automatic sun function on and off
To switch the sun automatic function on and off, please refer to the operating instructions of the weather station AIR.

Recycling of packaging materials
Packaging materials are raw materials and, therefore, recyclable. In the interest of environmental protection, please contact your local government’s recycling or solid waste management depart­ment to learn more about the services it provides.

According to the EC directives, all waste electrical and electronic equipment should be
disposed of and collected separately.
