INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the new ex•tend•it VGA Extender LR by Gefen, Inc.
The ex•tend•it VGA Extender LR by Gefen allows users the bene fi ts of extending VGA

signals beyond the desktop. The VGA Extender LR series can be used to extend a VGA
signal to cover the distance of 330 feet. Industry standard Category 5 (CAT-5) cable is
used for the extension.

The VGA Extender LR system consists of:
(1) VGA Extender LR sender unit

(1) VGA Extender LR receiver unit
(1) 5 VDC power supply

HOW IT WORKS

In its most basic application, the VGA Extender LR sender resides next to the com put er.
With the supplied VGA cable, the VGA Extender LR sender is connected to the computer.
The VGA Extender LR receiver is then placed next to the monitor or projector. Industry
standard Category 5 (CAT-5) cable is used to link the VGA Extender LR send er and VGA
Extender LR re ceiv er together.
