INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the ex•tend•it HDTV Repeater. Your complete
satisfaction is very important to us. Gefen’s line of KVM (Keyboard Video & Mouse),
DVI, ADC, USB, switches, extenders, converters and hubs is designed to make
computer use more comfortable, more productive and less expensive.
The ex•tend•it HDTV Repeater extends the length of any DVI cable by regenerating the
HDCP-DVI signal before it outputs to the HDCP-DVI monitor or projector. The HDTV
Repeater will clean out the digital noise (sparkles) in your picture. The HDTV Repeater
enables you to relocate your DVD player or satellite receiver to a safe, quiet and clutterfree environment.

CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE HDTV REPEATER
How to Connect the HDTV Repeater
1- Connect the long DVI cable from the source into the “DVI In” on the front of the HDTV
Repeater. The HDTV Repeater is placed next to your display to regenerate the DVI
cable.
2- Connect a short DVI cable from the “DVI Out” connection in the back of the DVI
Repeater to your display or projector.
3- Plug the 5v power supply into the HDTV Repeater.
4- Plug the 5v wallmount power supply into the wall outlet.

WARRANTY
Gefen Inc. warrants the equipment it manufactures to be free from defects in material
and workmanship.
If equipment fails because of such defects and Gefen Inc. is notifi ed within one
(1) year from the date of shipment, Gefen Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace
the equipment, provided that the equipment has not been subjected to mechanical,
electrical, or other abuse or modifi cations.
Equipment that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the
current price of parts and labor in effect at the of repair. Such repairs are warranted for
ninety (90) days from the day of reshipment to the Buyer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without
limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or fi tness for any particular purpose,
all of which are expressly disclaimed.
