Congratulations on your purchase of the Gefen 1U Rack Tray. Your complete satisfaction is very important to us.
This product has been designed for rack mounting of specic half-rack wide Gefen products. It helps keep your installation secure
and organized. This tray takes up just 1 Rack Unit (1U) height (1.75”), but can also accommodate lower prole as well as taller
enclosures (as long as there is clearance above the tray). For a list of compatible Gefen products, please see the EXT-RACK-1U

Make sure you have everything that came with your product:
(1) 1U Rack Tray (EXT-RACK-1U or EXT-RACK-1U-GRY)
(1) Quick-Start Guide (QSG-EXT-RACK-1U)

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Product-to-rack mounting screws are NOT provided
with this rack tray. These screws may or may not be
included with your product, depending on the model. To
nd out, please check the contents list in your product’s
user manual or QSG. If these screws did not come with
your Gefen product, you will need to purchase them
separately. Please use 6-32 at head machine screws,
approximately 3/16” or 5mm long. The use of longer
screws could damage your product. Such damage will not
be covered under warranty.
2. This rack tray is available in two nishes to complement
a variety of Gefen enclosures: Bronza (EXT-RACK-1U) and
Metallic Gray (EXT-RACK-1U-GRY).

2. Line up the holes on the unit and the rack tray.
3. Install 2 at head, 6-32 thread, 5mm or 3/16” long machine screws
that are either provided with the product or need to be purchased
separately (depending on product model).
4. Ensure that unit has been installed securely in the rack tray.
