Introduction
The ex•tend•it DVI to VGA Conversion Box connects analog CRT or LCD monitors to
DVI-D compliant video graphic cards. The DVI to VGA Conversion Box can be used in
conjuction with Gefen's DVI splitters to allow VGA only displays to be connected.

How to Connect the DVI to VGA Conversion Box
1- Connect your analog monitor to the HD-15 female connector at the
output side of the DVI to VGA Conversion Box.
2- Connect the DVI (m-m) cable between the DVI connector on the graphic
card and the DVI input of the DVI to VGA Conversion Box.
3- Connect the power supply.
Notes: If you are connecting the DVI to VGA Conversion Box to a source that reads
EDID (most computers) the Box will report 1600x1200@60Hz. Gefen support can reprogram the EDID to another resolution at request.

Gefen Inc. warrants the equipment it manufactures to be free from defects in material
and workmanship.
If equipment fails because of such defects and Gefen Inc. is notifi ed within one
(1) year from the date of shipment, Gefen Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace
the equipment, provided that the equipment has not been subjected to mechanical,
electrical, or other abuse or modifi cations.
Equipment that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the
current price of parts and labor in effect at the of repair. Such repairs are warranted for
ninety (90) days from the day of reshipment to the Buyer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without
limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or fi tness for any particular purpose,
all of which are expressly disclaimed.
