INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the new ex•tend•it 1x4 Audio DA series.
The ex•tend•it 1x4 Audio Distribution DA allows 8 audio locations from the same audio
source. The 1x4 Audio Distribution DA also extends the distributed audio to 4 locations up
to a 1000 feet away with CAT5.

HOW IT WORKS
1X4 Audio DA
The ex•tend•it 1x4 Audio Distribution unit sits next to your audio source. Stereo cables
supplied with the 1x4 Audio Distribution package connects your audio source to the
1x4 Audio Distribution sender. The Audio Extender receiver unit connects to your
speakers or audio output device. One CAT-5 cable per channel connects the 1x4 Audio
Distribution unit and the Audio Extender receive unit to each of the distributed locations
- up to 1000 feet away.

* Industry standard Category-5 (CAT-5) cables are used to link the 1x4 Audio DA and
receiver boxes together.
* The 1x4 Audio DA units are housed in a metal box for better RF shielding.

WARRANTY
Gefen Inc. warrants the equipment it manufactures to be free from defects in material
and workmanship.
If equipment fails because of such defects and Gefen Inc. is notifi ed within two
(2) year from the date of shipment, Gefen Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace
the equipment, provided that the equipment has not been subjected to mechanical,
electrical, or other abuse or modifi cations.
Equipment that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the
current price of parts and labor in effect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted
for ninety (90) days from the day of reshipment to the Buyer.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without
limitation, any implied warranty or merchantability or fi tness for any particular purpose,
all of which are expressly disclaimed.
1. Proof of sale may be required in order to claim warranty.
2. Customers outside the US are responsible for shipping charges to and from Gefen.
3. Copper cables are limited to a 30 day warranty and cable must be free from any
scratches, markings, and neatly coiled.
