Discrete I/O Modules (Input)
Input modules provide the interface between the PLC and external input devices such as proximity
sensors, push buttons, switches, and BCD thumbwheels. Output modules provide the interface
between the PLC and external output devices such as contactors, interposing relays, BCD displays
