WATERHEATERSAFETY
Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in o water heater that has not been used for two weeks or more. Hydrogen gas con be explosive under these circumstances.
Ifthe hot water has not been used for two weeks or more, prevent the possibilitg of damage or injury bg turning on all hot water faucets and allowing them to run for several minutes. Do this before using ang

Loosely load clothesno higherthan the top row of holes inthe washer basket. Thewater levelshouldjust cover the clothes. Adjustthe load sizeaccordingly.
Temperature
Selectthe water temperature for the wash and rinse cycles. Always follow fabric manufacturer's care labelor instructions when laundering.
PerfecTemp sensesthe incoming water temperature and adjusts the fillwater to obtain a more precise temperature range for allwash temperatures. Forexample,in aCOLDwash selection, somewarm water may be added to reacha temperature needed to better dissolve detergents.Often,detergents arenot completely dissolved in very cold water,especiallyin cooler climates.
During winter months, when the water entering your home iscolder,or for locations with very coldwater year round, usethe PerfecTemp plus COLDtohelp dissolvepowdered detergents and to improve the cleaning of your clothes.
TheTAPCOLDfeature turns the PerfecTemp feature on your washer off, and uses your household tap water temperature for aCOLDwash. Thiscan provide energy savingsby reducing the amount of hot water usedin your wash.

Sorting WashLoads
Sort bg color (whites,lights,colors),soil level, fabric type (sturdgcottons, easg care,delicates)

ProperUseof Detergent
Add detergent and start the washer before adding clothes sothat the detergent can work effectively.
Usingtoo littleor too much detergent is a common
cause of laundry problems. Youcan uselessdetergent if you have soft water,
a smaller load ora lightly soiled load.
GErecommendsthe useof HighEfficiency (HE) detergents in allEnergyStar rated washers.HE
detergents are formulated to work with low water wash and rinsesystems. HEdetergents reduce the
oversudsing problems commonly associated with
regular detergents.
Loadingthe Washer
Load dry items loosely,no higher than the top row of holesin the washer basket.When loading wet items,
