e Add sorted laundry to wash basket. Place large articles
at the bottom and distribute evenly to balance the load. Do not wind around the agitator, See your Use and Care Book for sorting details.

Measure and mid detergent to the wash load as recom­mended on detergent package, Powdered bleach may be added along with detergent.

SET THE CONTROLS
3 Close lid and set controls as follows:
l-id must be closed for washer to operate. Washer will fill
but will not agitate or spin with lid open.

The Bieach Dispenser is designed for use with liquid

Meach only! !f you prefer to use powdered bleach,
pour it into the washer, NOT’ into the bleach dispenser.
Do INOT overflow – Avoid splashing. Undiluted bleach
may causefabric damage.
Pour measured amount of liquid bleach directly into the BLEACH
DISPENSER.
Maximum recommended amount of liquid bleach . . .
Full wash: 1 1/4 cup (310 ml) liquid.
Small wash: 2/3 cup (170 ml) liquid.
HandWash: 1/4 cup (60 ml) liquid.

HOW TO USETHEFABRIC’
SOFTENERDBSPENSER
Position Fabric Softener Dis­penseron agitator. Pour the manufacturer’s recom­mended softener into a standard mea­suring cup. Add enough water to fill the cup 1/2 full. Pour the diluted softener into the dispenser.
The fabric softener will be dispensed automatically at the
proper time. For usewith HandWash system: @ LJseonly one teaspoon of concentrated softener or one
tablespoon of diluted softener, Stopping the washer during the first spin period will
causethe dispenserto empty too soon. Do not use the FABRIC SOFTENER DISPENSER
with the Soak Cycle.

HANDWASH Cycle, unlock and ‘remove the outer section,
leaving the HANDWASHTM or smaller agitator in place.
This agitator givesyou a wash with gentle action.
LIMIT WASH LOAD TO 2 POUNDS DRY WEIGHT.
May be used with most soaking aids to loosen deeply embedded soils or stains.

Push Cycle Selector knob in and turn clockwise to HAND WASH position. Pull Cycle Selector knob out to start. Cycle will be completed automatically.
Co!d water will be provided automatically in the SOAK CYCLE. If a l-lot or Warm soak is desired, set Wash Temp Switch and turn Cycle Selector to “LIGHT S01 L“. After washer fills and begins to agitate, push in Cycle Se­lector knob and turn to “SOAK”.
Pull out Cycle Selector knob to complete the cycle. For an EXTE”NDED SOAK a
