The larger slot in the adaptermust bealignedwiththelargerslotin the walloutlettoprovideproperpolarity intheconnectionofthe powercord.
CAUTION:Attachingan adapter
groundterminal to the walloutlet coverscrew does not groundthe applianceunlessthecover screw
ismetal, and notinsulated, and the walloutlet isgrounded through the house wiring. Youshould have
circuitchecked bya qualified electrician to make sure theoutlet is properly grounded.
When disconnecting the power cord from the adapter,alwayshold the adapter withone hand. Ifthis
isnotdone, the adapter ground terminal is very likely to break with repeated use.
