Before you begin - Read these instructions completely and carefully. IMPORTANT - Save these instructions for local inspector's use. IMPORTANT - OBSERVE ALL GOVERNING CODES AND ORDINANCES. Note to Installer - Be sure to leave these instructions with the Consumer.
Note to Consumer - Keep these instructions with your Use and Care Book for future reference. Note - This appliance must be properly grounded.

INSTRUCTIONS
Be sum your oven is Installed properly by a qualified installer or service teehnlclan.
Be sure the oven is securely installed in a cabinet that is firmly attached to the house
structure. Weight on the oven door could cause the oven to tip and result in Injury.
Never allow anyone to cllmb_ sit, stand or hang on the oven door.
Never use your oven for warming or heating the room. Prolonged use of the oven without adequate
ventllstlon can be hazardous.

Thla appliance must besupplied with the proper voltage and frequency, and connected to an Individual, properly grounded branch €Ircuit, protected by a circuit breaker or fuse, having mpemge as noted on rating plate.
(Rating plate Is located on oven frame.) We recommend you havethe electricalwiring and hookup
of your oven done by a qualified electrician. After installation, have the electrician show you where your main range disconnect is located.
Check with your local utilities forelectrical codes which apply In your area. Failure to wire your oven according to governing codes could result in a hazardous condition. ifthere are no local codes, your range must bewired and fused to meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-1990. You must use a three-wire, single-phaea A.C. 208Y/120
Volt or 120/240 Volt, 60 Hertz electrical system. If you connect to aluminum wiring, properly installed
connections approved for use with aluminum wiring
must be used.
DIMENSIONS AND CLEARANCES
Cabinet space must be provided to enclose the re- ceseed part of your built-in oven. SINGLE OVEN INSTALLATION-See Figure 1 for all necessary dl-
mansions. DOUBLE OVEN INSTALLATION--See Figure 2 for all necessary dimensions, it Isbest to make
a template to insure accurate cutting. Place the bottom of the template on a level base fine,
above the floor. See Dimension E in Fig. 1 (Single Oven) on page 2, or Fig. 2 (Double Oven) on page 3.
See page 4, Fig. 3 for cutout dimensions to install a single built-in oven under approved cooktop models.

FOR ALL INSTALLATIONS
The oven may be supported by either a solid bottom or two runners. The solid bottom or two runners sheuid be level with the bottom edge of the cutout opening.
If a solid bottom is used Instead of the nmmm_ 6" x 10" rectangle must be out out of the bottom (See Fig. 2) for optimum performance and proper air circulation.

level, rigidly mounted and spaced 20 1/2" on center. The space between the mnnem Is 19" wide.
STEP 1: PREPARE CABINET OPENING
NOTE: Locate an approved Junction box In one of the suggested locations; a minimum of 34" above the runners or5" below
the runners.

STEP 2: ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
1. De-energize oven branch circuit.
2. Wit hoven Infront of esblnet openlng,connact flexlbis
power cord to the junction box In such s manner that Itwill hang down Ina natural loop agalnet the left side of the back wail when the oven is installed. Do not
shorten this flexible poworcabis. The Ilexlble conduit connector must be securely attached to the junction
box and thefisxlbis conduit must he securely attached to the connector. If the fisxlble conduit will not fit
within the connector, do not install the oven until a connector of the proper size IS obtained.
When connecting to a 3-conductor branch circuit, if local codes permit, connect the oven hem ground conductor with the crimped neutral (white) lead to the branch circuit neutral (whife or gray Incolor), the
oven red lead to the branch circuit red lead and the oven black lead to the branch circuit black lead In
accordance wifh local codes.
SPECIAL GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
When connecting to a 4-conductor branch circuit; When Installing oven in a mobile home;
When local codes do not pormlt grounding through neutral:
1. Cut the neutral (white) lead from the crimp. Restrip the neutral (white) lead to expose the proper length
of conductor.
2. Attach the appliance grounding lead (green or bare copper) tothe residence grounding conductor (green
or bare) In accordance wifh local codes. If the resldenco grounding conductor IS aluminum, see
"WARNING" note.
3. Connect the oven neutral (white) lesd to the branch
circuit neutral (white or gray) In accordance with local codes.
4. Connect the oven red lead to the branch clrcuif red
lead and the oven black lead to the branch clrcuif black lead In accordance wifh local codes. If the residence redand black leads am aluminum conduc- tots, see "WARNING" note.

NOTE TO ELECTRICIAN=
The 3 power leads supplisd with this appliance are U.L.
recognized for connactlon to larger gauge household
wldng. The Insulation of these 3 leads Is rated at temperatures much higher then the temperature rating of household wldng. The current carrying capacity of the conductor Is governed by the temperature rating of the Insulation around the wire, rather than the wire
gauge alone.

STEP 3: TRIM INSTALLATION
Your built-in oven is packed with a shipping base pad on the bottom of the unit. To protect the lower front tdm
from damage, do not remove unit from base pad until
ready to Install In cabinet. The oven door must be removed before you are ready to Install the oven. Make
electdcai connections and then follow steps 3A, 3B,
and 3C.
Make sure you do not Up the unit forward dudng
installaUon or you may bend the lower trim.
3A: Remove the oven door.
Open the door to the stop position (See Fig. 4A).
Grasp the dour at each side and lift up and off the
hinges (See Fig. 4B).
CAUTION:
When the door is removed and
hinge arms are at stop position, do not bump or try to move the hinge arms. The hinges could
snap back causing an injury to the hands or damage to the porcelain
on the front of the range. Cover the hinges with toweling or empty
towel rolls while working in the
oven area.

Your built-in oven is pocked with shipping base pad on the bottom of the unit. The lower front tdm is shipped separately and should not be USed until you are ready to install the oven with the door removed.
1. Remove the oven door us shown in step 3A of the installation instructions packed with your
oven,
2. After door is removed, attaCh lower tdm to front frame with three Phillips head screws provided, and
to side tdm with two #20 torx head screws provided.
(See FI0. S).
3. Nextm follow steps 3B end 3C on page 7 of your
installation Instructions to secure the oven to the oabinet cutout and rer3ace the oven door.

A CAUTION:
The bottom trim provides amopen- ing for cooling air to enter the
cabinet, This opening should never he blocked.
CAUTION:
Do not lift oven or oven door by handle. Door glass breakage or handle damage may occur.

3B: Slide oven all the way Into the cabinet cutout.
Drill 3/32" pilot holes for four _ screws through the mounting holes in oven frame. (See Fig. 6 - Double Oven
shown.) Use dry wall screws If cablnM Is particle board.

34_ Mount the oven with the screws supplied and replace
oven door. To replace the oven door.
1. Hold the door over the hinges with the slots at the botfomedgeofthedoor lined upwlth thehlnges. The
hinge anne must Mill be In the Mop position.
2. Slide the door clown onto the hinges as far as It will go end close the door. (See Fig. 7.)
