Cabinet space must be providedto enclosethe recessed
parl of your built-in oven. See Figure 1 for all necessa~
dimensions. Acutout22-1/2”wide by 27-7/8”highmustbe
made in the cabinet front. It is best to makea ternplateto
insureaccurate cutting.
Placethe bottom of the template on a levelbase line,
34-1/8”abovethe floor. Thiswill positionthe open oven
doorabout37” abovethe floor.
II is important that the oven be installed at or above the
minimum height specified. The unit has been tested and
approved,inaccordancewithsafetystandards,atthisheight.
Theventareamaygethotwtwntheovenis inuse. Following
theseinstallationinstructionswill movethevent areaout of
a rangewhereitwould likely be touched by small children.
Theovenmaybe supportedbyeither a solid bottomortwo
runners,on 11“ centers. The solid bottom or two runners
shouldbe34-1/8”abovethefloor, levelwiththebottomedge
ofthe cutout opening.
Be sure the oven support is solid enough to supporl 150
pounds. Also,besurethe ovensupportislevelandstraight.
Thereis no way to levelthe oven after installation.

elements or inside the oven. l-leating elements
could be hot enough to burn you even if they are
dark in color. The oven vent duct and oven door
mayalso become hot during ovenuse.

from things that will burn, gasoline and other
flammablevapors and liquids.
Always change oven rack positionswhileovenis
cool.
After broiling,alwaystakethebroilerpanoutofthe
oven and clean it. Leftover grease in the broiler
pancan catch on fire nexttime you use the pan.
Never try to repair or replaceany partofthe oven

build up may make container burst and cause

oven. You can keep grease fires from starting if
you clean up grease and spills after each oven
use.

bottoms. Improper use of foil could start a fire.
Never block free airflowthrough the oven vent.
Never try to move a pan of hot fat, especiaHya
deep fat fryer. Wait untilthe fat has cooled.
Always usedry pot holders when removingpans
from the oven. Moist or damp potholders can
cause steam burns.
Iways use care when opening oven door. Let
