Pull off knobs. Wash gently but do not soak. Dry and return controls [o cooktop, making sure to ma[chfiat area on the knob and shaft.
When cooktop is cool, ciean with stainlesssteel cleaner such as Cameo Aluminum & Stainless Steel Cieaner. Besureto rub in same directionas the brushed grain finish of the top. Remove stubborn stains by using a nylon scouring pad such as Scotch-Brite pad and rubbingcarefuliyin the same direction as the brushed grain finish. NEVER IJSE STEEL WOOL, OVEN CLEANER, SCOURING POWDER OR Oll+ER ABRASIVECLEANERS.
Avoidcieaningpowdersor harsh abrasives which mayscratchthe enamei. If acids shouid spiii on the cooktopwhile it is hot, usea dry paper towelor cioth to wipe up right away.When the surface has cooied, wash and rinse. Forother spiiis, suchas fat smatterings,etc., washwith soap and waterwhen cooled and then rinse. Polish with
dry cloth. Lift out when cooi. Soak5 to 10minutesif desired in warm solution of dishwasher
detergent. Scour with materiais mentioned hereto removeburned-onfoodparticles. DO NOT CLEAN IN SELF-CLEANING OVEN.
Washafter each cookingsounnoticed spatter wiii notbum on next time youcook. Toremoveburned-on spatters, use anyor ail cleaning materiais mentioned. Rub lightlywithscouringpad topreventscratchingof the surface. DO NOT CLEAN IN SELF-CLEANING OVEN.
