The larger slotin theadaptermust bealignedwith the larger slotin the
wallreceptacle toprovideproper polarity intheconnection ofthe powercord.
Caution: Attachingthe adapter
ground terminal tothe wall receptacle coverscrew does not ground the appliance unlessthe coverscrew ismetal, andnot insulated, and the wall receptacle
isgrounded through the house wiring. Youshould havethe circuit checked bya qualified electrician
tomake sure the receptacle is properly grounded.
When disconnecting the power cord from the adapter, alwayshold the adapter with one hard. Ifthis isno[done, the adapter ground terminalisverylikely tobreak with repeated use. Should this happen,

appliance (15amperes). Suchextensioncords are obtainable
