• Metal or fifil touching the side ot the oven,
• Foil not molded to fi_od (upturned edges act
like anmnnas).
• Metal, such as twist-ties, poultty pins, or gold-
rimmed dishes, in tile microwave.
• Recycled paper towels containing small metal
pieces being used in tile microwave.

including popcorn bags, cooking pouches, and
boxes. To prevent possible iqjury, direct steam
away fl'om hands and face.
Do not overcook potatoes. They could dehvdrate
and catch fire, causing damage to yore" oven.
Cook meat and poultry thoroughly--meat to at
least an INTERNAL temperature of 160°F and
poult_ T to at least an INTERNAl, tempemtm'e
ot 180°E Cooking to these temperatures usually
protects against toodborne illness.

--Do not overheat the liquid.

MICROWAVE-SAFECOOKWARE
Make sure all cookware used ill _our microwave • Cookware may become hot because ot heat

• Not all plastic wrap is suitable fin" use ill

"Boilable" cooking pouches and tightly closed

char if subjected to short periods of overcooking.
