Toinstallfaucetadapter,first removethe old aeratoror trinlringonyourfaucetspout.
If faucetha~ex*-rnalthreads,insertthe thinnerof the twowashersinto thefaucetadapterandattachit to the faucetspout (Fig. I).

the faucet adapter and attach it to the faucetspout
