Detergentswithahigher phosphate levelwillprobablyworkbetter.If thephosphatecontentislow(8.7% or less), you’llhavetouseextra detergentwithhardwater.

Or yourarea’swatersofiner company.Justcallandaskthem howmany“grainsofhardness” thereareinyourwater.
Howmuchdetergentshouldyou use?That depends.Isyourwater
“hard”or “sofi”?Withhardwater, youneedextradetergenttoget dishesclean.Withsofiwater,you needlessdetergent.
Toomuchdetergentwithsofiwater notonlywastesmoney,itcanbe
harmful.It cancausea permanent cloudinessofglassware,called
“etching.”An outsidelayerofglass
isetchedaway!Ofcourse,thistakes
sometime.But whytakeachance whenit’seasytofindoutthe hardnessofyourwater.
Keepyourdetergentfreshand dry.Underthesinkisn’tagood
