How to test water temperature:
Checkthewatertemperature insideyour dishwasherwitha candyor meatthermometer.
Letthe dishwasherrunthrough
onefillandpumpoutcycle,then letthedishwasherfillwithwater thesecondtime.
Whenyouhearthewaterstop filling,unlatchthedoorandslowly openit.
Measurethetemperatureofthewater inthe bottomofthetubthisway:
Removethesilverwarebasketand
placea candyor meatthermometer inthewatertowardsthemiddleof thetub. If the temperatureis less
than 120°F,you willnotgetgood washingresults.Higherwater temperatureisneededtodissolve
greaseandactivatepowderdetergents.
Helpfulhints:Ifoutside temperaturesareunusuallylow,or ifyourwatertravelsalongdistance
fromwaterheatertodishwasher, youmayneedtosetyourwater heater’sthermostatup.If youhave notusedhot waterforsometime,
