Phosphatehelpsprevent hard-watermaterialsfromforming spotsorfilmonyourdishes.If yourwaterishard(’7grainsor more),yourdetergenthastowork
harder.Detergentswitha higher phosphatelevelwillprobablywork better.Ifthe phosphatecontentis low(8.7%orless),you’llhaveto useextradetergentwithhardwater.
