How to prepare the dMRes for
washing
If thisisyourfirstdishwasher,or ifyou’rereplacinga much older model, you may wonderhowmuch pre-preparation yourdishesneed. Actuallyvery little. Pre-rinsing of normal food soilsisnotnecessary. Withcommon sense and a little practice you’llsoonknow what foodsto remove. Here are some guidelines:
L Scrape off bones, seeds, skins,
toothpicksandotherhardsolids.It isalsobesttoremovehardshelled vegetables,meattrimming~tlea~
vegetablesandcrusts.Remove excessivequantitiesofoilor
grease.
2. Removelargequantitiesofany food.Yourdishwasherhasa built-in softfooddisposerthatpulverizes
softfoodbitsand
flushesthemaway.
Itcanhandlesmallamountsof
softfoods,butlargeamountswill
be difficulttohandle.
3. Trytoremovefoodscrapsand placedishesindishwasherbefore
soilhasachancetodryandbecome hard.Disheswithdried-onsoilare moredifficultto washandmay notcomecleanintheNORMAL WASHcycle.Remembertouse yourRINSE&HOLDcyclefor
small“holding”loads. Note:Thefoodsmentionedabove
