_WARNING:
To prevent electric shock, disconnect electrical power supplg to dishwasher before changing panels. Do not operate dishwasher while changing panels or when toekick assemblg is removed.
TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED:
1/4" socket driver
Phillips screwdriver
Electric drill
1/8" drill bit
Masking tape
Safety Glasses
Gloves to protect against sharp edges
KIT INCLUDES:
Left, right, top and bottom door trim
Color-matched screws

INSTALLATION OPTIONS
This trim kit is designed to accommodate 1/4" thick panels. A raised panel screwed or glued to 1/4" thick backing can be
used. The raised portion of the panel must be fabricated to permit clearances for the trim on all sides.

A 3/4" thick custom panel mag be installed bg routing the top
and sidesto 1/4" thickness.

Step 1 CUT 1/4" THICK CUSTOM PANELS TO SIZE
Cut door panel to the dimensions shown.
NOTE:The trim provided will conceal the cut edges of the panels.

Step 2 REMOVE TOEKICK ASSEMBLY
Loosen the two screws located on the side of the toekick. Retain screws.
Remove the toekick and set aside.
NOTE:Do not remove the insulation behind the toekick.

Step 3 INSTALL DOOR PANEL TRIM AND CUSTOM PANEL

Place bottom trim against the bottom of the door panel and drive center screw, then left and right screws.

The notch on the side trim pieces goes towards the front. Slide side trim up and under the escutcheon and over the edge of the custom panel.

Slide "Z" shaped trim under the escutcheon.

Slide custom door panel under the "Z" trim and bottom trim.

Usemasking tape to hold trim tightlu against the custom
panel.

Drill Holes and Install Screws
Center punch and drill holes through the holes in the side trim and into the dishwasher door.
Secure the trim to the door with color matched screws
provided. Remove tape.
STEP4 INSTALL TOEKICK
Place the toekick against the bottom of the dishwasher.
Re-install two original bottom screws. Adjust the toekick and tighten screws.
STEP 5 ADJUSTING DOOR BALANCE
WARNING:
All dishwashers can tip when removed from enclosure.
Injurg to persons could result.
Use caution when opening door.
Remove 2 screws securing the dishwasher to the countertop
or sides.
Pull the unit out from the cabinets approximatelu 10" until
door springs are exposed.
Check the door balance by opening and closing the door.
If the door drops open when released, increase spring tension.
If the door closes when released, decreased tension.
Note: Increase or decrease tension as shown. Adjust both
springs to the same tension setting to correct balance.
Tip: If door does not open easilu or falls too quicklu, check spring cable routing. The cable is held in place bg "shoulders" on the pulleg, Checkto be sure cable has not slipped over the
pulleg shoulders and onto the axle.
STEP 6 POSITION DISHWASHER
Slide the dishwasher back into opening. DO NOT PUSH AGAINST FRONT PANELWITH KNEES, DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
Re-secure the unit bg putting the two screws securing the
dishwasher to the countertop or sides.
Turn the electrical power on.
