Use the COOL mode with HIGH (F3), MED (F2) or
LOW(FI) tim fin" cooling. Use the INCREASEA /
DECREASEV pads to set the desired temperature
between 60°F and 86°F in l °F increments.
An electronic them/ostat is used to maintain the
room temperatm'e. The compressor will cyde on and

the them/ostat at a lower nmnber and the indoor air
will become coole_: Set the them_ostat at a higher

NOTE:ff the air conditioneris off and is thenturnedon

FAN Mode
Use tile FANat HIGH(F3),MED(F2)or LOW(FI)to
provide air circulation and filtering without cooling.
Since tim only settings do not provide cooling,
a temperature setting will not be displayed.
Vent Control
The vent control is located above the control
panels.

For Quieter & Nighttime Cooling---Select the

NOTE:If you switch from a COOLsetting to OFForto
a fan setting,wait at least3 minutesbeforeswitching
back to a COOLsetting.
When set at CLOSE, only the air inside the room
will be circulated and conditioned. When set at
OPEN,some inside air is exhausted outside.
Air Direction--Side-to-Side
The side-to-side air direction is a(!i usted by moving
the lever to the left or right.
Air Direction--Up and Down

Air Filter
The air filter behind the front grille should be
