This air conditioner must be properly installed in accordance with die Installation
h_structions before it is used.
Nexer unplng your air conditioner by pulling on the power cord. Always gxip plug firmly
and pull straight out from tile receptacle. Replace immediamly all electric service
cords fllat have become flayed or otherwise damaged. A damaged power supply cord
nmst be replaced with a new power supply cord obtained flom tile manufactmer and
not repaired. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at eifller file plug or connector end.

Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove
the third (ground) prong from the power cord. For personal safe_ this appliance must be properly grounded.
The power cord of dfis appliance is equipped
with a 3-prong (grounding) ping which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall
outlet m minimize tim possibility of electric shock hazard flom this appliance.
Power cold includes a cmxent intemq)ter device. A rest and reset button is provided on the plug case. The device should be tesmd on a periodic basis by first pressing tile TEST
button and then the RESETbutmn. If the TEST button does not trip or if tile RESETbutton
will not stay engv%_ed, discontinue use of tile
air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician.
Where a 9-prong wall oudet is encountered, it is your persona] responsibility and obligation
to haxe it replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet.

be made to a properly grounded 9-prong wall outlet by use of a UL-lismd adaptor available
at most local hardware stores. The larger slot in the adaptor must be aligned
with the larg>r slot in the wall outlet to provide
proper polarity in the connection of the power cord.
When disconnecting fl)e power cord from the adapte_; alwws hold the adaptor in place with one hand while pulling the power cord plug
with the other hand. If this is not done, the adaptor ground mrminal is ve U likely' to bleak
with repeated use. If the adapter ground terminal breaks, DO NOT

The temp control is used to maintain the
room temperature. The compressor will

same level of comtiwt. Turn the knob clockwise to COOLER(blue) and the indoor
air willbecome coole_: Turn the knob counterclockwise to WARMER (red) and
the indoor air will become wam_e_:
HIGH COOLand LOW COOL provide cooling with different t,m speeds.
HIGH HEAT and LOW HEATprovide heating with different tan speeds.
FAN settings provide air circulation and filtering without cooling or heating,
