Using the Product
Thank you or choosing the GE 99001 Portable Stereo
Transmitter. This device supports the A2DP Bluetooth
profi le which provides users with the ability to stream
high quality audio via Bluetooth
®
wireless technology
from any stereo device that has a 3.5mm headphone
jack or line output.

Charging
• Charge the unit for a minimum of 12 hours before
fi rst use. Use the enclosed USB charging cable or
the AC Adapter to fully charge the transmitter.
• The red LED indicator will stay on constantly when
charging.
• The transmitter’s red LED charging indicator will shut
off automatically when the battery is fully charged.
• The red LED indicator will start to fl ash when the
power is low. Charge the transmitter when you see
the LED low power indicator fl ashing.
Connecting the transmitter to an audio source
1. Use the 3.5mm stereo patch cable that came with
the transmitter to connect from the line input of the
transmitter to the headphone or line output jack on
your portable audio device.

to play
3. Slide the power switch located on the top of the
GE 99001 transmitter to the on position.

Pairing the transmitter to a Bluetooth® enabled
device such as a pair of stereo headphones
See the owner’s manual of the reception device for
instructions. Most Bluetooth
automatically pair with the GE 99001. Some devices may
require a PIN code during the pairing process; enter 0000
if needed.
Note: It may take up to 2 minutes for the GE 99001
transmitter and your Bluetooth
While the GE 99001 and your audio receiver are pairing
you will see the Blue LED on the GE 99001 fl ashing quickly.
Once your GE 99001 is paired you will see a slow and
steady blinking.

Turning the Transmitter OFF to Conserve
Battery Power
If you don’t want to use the GE 99001 transmitter, turn off
power by moving the power switch to off. It can easily be
paired back with your devices the next time you choose to
use it.
Troubleshooting
1. How do I know when the battery on the transmitter is
running low?
The battery power is almost exhausted when one or more
of the following scenarios happen:
a. You can constantly hear breaks on the audio link about
every 30 seconds, or
b. You cannot pair any Bluetooth
transmitter after several tries.
