Features
1. Blue IR confirmation LED.
2. Wide band IR receives IR from many type of remotes.
3. Self-adhesive tape for quick and easy fixing on any flat surface.
4. 3 meter cable with 3.5mm stereo mini-plug.
Instructions
1. Power
Connect the 12 VDC (500mA) power supply to the power jack of the IR HUB. The red LED will be illuminated when powered. This will power all of the IR components connected to the system.
2. IR Receiver
This is a three terminal 1/8” plug that is common to many of the free standing IR receivers.
3. Emitter Outputs
Connect IR emitters to the emitter jacks. Place the emitters on the source equipment.

Before installing the emitter and IR receiver, thoroughly clean the surface.
A. Standard and Preferred installation
1. The preferred method is to attach the IR emitters directly to the IR sensor window on electronic device.
2. To locate the IR sensor on your electronic device, you may have to use a flashlight to shine into the front of the component through the glass to find the sensor. The sensor may be a square or round circle depending on the manufacturer of the electronic device.
(See illustration for an image of a sensor.)
3. Once found, peel the adhesive sticker off the emitter and press firmly onto the front of the component over the IR sensor. Do not press too hard to break the front of the component. Please note that the surface must be clean and dry as well as a flat surface the emitter to adhere properly. The emitter will not adhere to curved surfaces.
B. Attach emitter on inside shelf
1. Attach emitter on shelf above or below IR sensor.
2. Press the emitter firmly on the shelf as close as possible to the IR sensor. The will flood the area of infrared signal for the component to receive.

C. Cabinet with door installation
1. It may be needed to attach emitter on the inside of the cabinet door. This method will flood the area with infrared signal for the component to receive.
2. Place the emitter directly in front of the component on the door and press firmly with the round shape facing the IR sensor.
D. Installing the IR Receiver
1. Locate a flat surface on the front of your television or cabinet. Peel the adhesive backing and press firmly on the desired location.
2. This is the only hardware item visible when the cabinet doors are closed. Thus, ensure there is a clear line of sight for the sensor to receive a signal.
E. Testing the device
1. Close the doors to your entertainment center and attempt to change the channel with your cable box. If the channel changes, congratulations on the set up of your new IR Repeater!
Troubleshooting
1. Does not have any power
a. Ensure the unit is plugged in properly to the hub as well as into a 110 volt outlet.
2. Blue light indicator on the IR Receiver flashes but unit does not work a. Occasionally, more reliable activation can occur by moving the IR emitter further away from the device. This may be due to improper placement of the emitter, or that the sensor itself is partially obscured.
Page 6
b. It may also be due to a peculiar RCU / sensor combination. Placing the emitter 2” - 4” away from the IR sensor can achieve significantly better activation in such cases. Please experiment to achieve optimal activation before securing with the self-adhesive pads. c. Some flat panel TVs emits interference for the IR receiver to receive signals. Placing the receiver up to 6” away from the front of the TV may allow the receiver to better receive IR signals. d. The signal received may not be sufficient. Try reducing the distance between the IR Receiver and the remote control to obtain a stronger signal.
CAUTION: Use only the power adaptor supplied to power the IR Repeater. Do not use any other power adaptor with this product.
