OPERATION
Before rst use
Remove packaging materials, labels and stickers from the coee grinder. •
Clean the coee grinder thoroughly before using for the rst time ( • Cleaning).
Grinding coee
Clean the base (3), grinding chamber (2) and cover (1). •
Insert and turn grinding chamber (2) clockwise according to the marking to locked •
position (ill. a). Make sure the grinding chamber (2) is rmly locked in position.
For precise measuring place the coee beans/spices into the cover (1) and then •
into the grinding chamber (2) (ill.

Make sure not to exceed maximum markings inside the cover (1) ( •12 cups) and
grinding chamber (2) (MAX).
CAUTION! The blade is sharp. Handle with extreme caution! Do not attempt to override
the cover interlock mechanism.
Place the cover (1) on the base (3). Make sure the notch on the cover (1) is aligned •
with the tab in the base (3). Turn the cover (1) clockwise according to the marking to
lock it. The cover (1) will lock into position (ill.
If the power cord (4) is inside the cord storage (5), remove it and extend to full •

Connect the power plug (4) to a wall outlet. •

Set the cup selector switch (8) to the desired number of cups to be ground (ill. •
NOTE: The cover (1) can become etched or cloudy as a result of grinding. This is
normal.

To stop grinding press • (7). Press (7) again, to restart grinding from the beginning
of timed cycle. The power (9) indicator goes out.
If the appliance is not working, make sure both grinding chamber (2) and cover (1) •
are rmly locked in position.
If the grinding result should not be satisfactory, press pulse (6) to grind the coee •
beans smaller.
Remove cover (1) and grinding chamber (2) from the base (3). Pour ground coee •
into paper or permanent lter of your coee maker.
After nishing, disconnect the power plug (4) from the wall outlet. •
(7) to start grinding. The power (9) indicator lights up. The coee grinder will

This appliance is also suitable for grinding spices. •
Set cup selector switch (8) to 12 cups for maximum grinding time. •

If the desired neness is not reached, press and hold down pulse (6) until desired •

Always store coee beans in an airtight container to keep them fresh.•
Grind beans immediately before brewing. •Grinding times might vary by amount and neness setting.•

Coee avor and strength is a personal preference. Vary the type of coee beans, •
amount of coee and neness of grind to nd the avor you prefer.

CLEANING
