SCSI (SMALL COMPUTER SYSTEM INTERFACE) CABLES

More powerful computers and faster speeds have given rise to the tremendous growth in the SCSI peripheral
devices. The first SCSI standard was adopted in 1986. It supports seven devices on an 8-bit bus at speeds up to
5 Mbps. The most common connectors to be used were DB25, CEN50, and DB50.

• SCSI cables use twisted pair wires

• Cables are double shielded

• Cable is 28 AWG with mylar foil and 85% Braid (SCSI 1 cables have foil shield only)
