1. GAN-15A-MP
CONTROL FEATURES
GAN-15A-MP is a bi-amped electronically
compensated speaker system. The
LF part has 300W, the HF part has
100W, separated by a two-way
crossover. GAN-15A-MP has a built-in MP3
Music Player Module with karaoke function.
1 BASS
Use this knob to adjust the low frequencies
of the system.
2 IN PUT V OL UM E
Use this knob to adjust the volume of the
source connected to the input connector 5.
3 CLIP INDICAT OR
When the preamp input is fed with a too
loud signal, this indicator will light. Please
lower the volume to have optimum sound
quality and not damage amplifier or
speaker components.
4 SI GN AL I ND ICATOR
When signal is applied to the preamp this
indicator will light.
5 IN PUT
Connect your source here. This XLR+1/4”
input connector can handle both
microphone level and line level inputs.
(pin 1 ground, pin 2 +, pin 3 -).
6 VOLTAGE SELE CT OR
Make sure you select the correct local
mains voltage; 110 volts or 220 volts.
7 POWE R SWITC H
Use this switch to turn the system on and
off.
8 MP 3 MUSIC P LAYER M OD UL E
Please refer to the section on next page for
operation instructions.
9 TR EB LE
Use this knob to adjust the high
frequencies of the system.
10 MP3 VO LUME
Use this knob to adjust the volume of the
MP3 music player module (marked 8).
11 MI X/ O UT PU T
Use this output to patch out line level signal
from the preamp.
12 ST ER EO /MO NO SWITCH
This switch determines what type of signal
is fed to connector 11.
stereo mode: the left channel of the
MP3 music player module
will be amplif ied by the
internal amplifiers and the
right channel will be fed to
connector 11. You can patch
this signal to an optional
GAN-15A system for true
stereo sound.
mono mode: the signal fed to connector 11
will be exactly the same as
the signal fed to the internal
amplifiers.
13 LI NE / MICR OP HO NE SWITCH
Use this switch to set the type of signal fed
to connector 5. Typically, set this switch
to ‘microphone’ when a microphone is
connected. When connecting a mixing
console, CD player, keyboard etc. please
set this switch to ‘line’. Wrong selection can
damage this system!
14 PO WE R SUPPLY INPU T
Use the factory-included (or compatible)
power cable to connect this socket to a
mains outlet. Please make sure you have
selected the correct setting of switch 6!
15 PR OTECT IO N FUSE
This fuse blows in the event of a
malfunction. Replace it with another fuse
of the same type and rating only. For your
convenience, a spare fuse is included in
the fuse holder.
