GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Latitude2 Widespread faucet
PREPARATION
Tools Required for Assembly: (Not included)
• Teflon tape
• Plumber’s putty
CAUTION: Before removing old faucet, turn off the cold and hot water supply lines and open the
old faucet to release pressure build-up.
CAUTION: When installing new faucet, tighten connector nuts first by hand, then use a
wrench to tighten the fitting.
CAUTION: Use Teflon tape on all threaded connections.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Shut off water supply lines and remove old faucet.
Remove the tee connector, and spout mounting hardware from spout. Place spout
through center mounting hole in counter top / sink.
From beneath the counter top/sink, secure the spout with rubber washer (A), metal
washer (B) & locking nut (C). The openings of the washers should be facing back

where pop-up drawin pull will be inserted.
To properly lock spout in place hand tighten locking nut (C) till snug then align the
spout and use a plier to lock nut in position.

Wrap the spout shank with Teflon/ Plumbers tape. Then place the tee connector
washer (D) and cone washer (E) tapered side up inside the sealing nut (F). Insert tee
connector (G) onto the end of the spout shank. Tighten sealing nut (F) to seal.
In most cases the sealing nut will be already attached to the tee connector and
should just be tightened to ensure no leaks.

Remove the valve body mounting hardware from the valve body.
Tightly screw in co-responding hoses (M) in the the valve body. (Blue hose for
cold, red hose for hot) For proper handle turning direction, install the handle with
the "Hot" red label on the left side. Slide the valve body's flexible hoses though the
counter top / sink mounting holes.

From beneath the counter top/sink, secure the valve body with gaskets (H), metal
washer (I) & locking nut (J).
To properly lock valve in place hand tighten locking nut (J) till snug then align

handle and use a screwdriver to lock nut in position.
Wrap threads with Tefon/Plumbers tape then loop, connect and tighten the flexible
hoses to the tee connector.

Wrap threads with Teflon/Plumbers tape around water inlets (K), then connect
corresponding hot and cold water lines and tighten water supply lines.
After all connections have been made, turn on water supply and check for leaks. If
water leaks from any connections tighten the connection till leakage stops.
If there are no leaks, unscrew aerator (L) and turn handles to flush any debris for 1
min. Replace aerator when done.
