OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE MANUAL
Congratulations on the purchase of your new G.A. Systems Mobile Refrigerated Cabinet. G.A. Systems would like to thank you for choosing us as your trusted manufacturer.
The Mobile Beverage Cabinet is designed to refrigerate and hold ambient, refrigerated, drinks at a maximum of 40° Fahrenheit.
I. START UP AND INSTALLATION
The "Speedee-Serv" Beverage Cabinet is equipped with a 6'0" cord and cap (NEMA configuration 5-15P). Cabinet requires a 120 volt 15 amp circuit with a NEMA 5-15R receptacle. If the cabinet is used in conjunction with other "Speedee-Serv" equipment, a connector is provided to secure each cabinet together. Lock the brakes on the four casters to prevent the cabinet from moving.
After initial plug in, check to see if the condensing unit fan is operating. If the fan is not operating, unplug unit immediately. When everything is operating properly there is no need to unplug the refrigeration unit. If for any reason the unit is unplugged, do not plug unit back in until the unit has been out of operation for no less than five minutes.
II. OPERATING PROCEDURES
1. Milk Storage Model M336 is designed to accommodate flats of Milk.
2. Serving Period Immediately prior to serving, remove the lift off lid. Note: Replace lid after each serving period. Product temperature will remain more constant when lid in place.
3. Securing Cabinet
Place the lid on the cabinet. Insert the locking bar with welded angle side down, over the locking pins at each end of the cabinet. With two padlocks (not included), lock bar in place by inserting padlocks into locking pins at each end of cabinet. Padlocks should meet the following requirements - vertical clearance of 2½", horizontal clearance of 1½", and a maximum shackle diameter of 5/16".
III. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug cabinet before performing any of the following procedures:
1. Exterior and Interior Surfaces
Clean all surfaces with a standard furniture cleaner or a citrus base cleaner and then wipe dry.
Caution: Never use solvent type cleaners, or harsh abrasive polishes on plastic laminate surfaces.
2. Condensing Unit Cleaning
Unplug unit before cleaning. Clean the condensing unit once a month for maximum efficiency. Remove all dirt, dust, or foreign matter with the use of a vacuum or brush from all exposed portions of the condensing unit.
IV. TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Cabinet Not Cold or Condensing Unit Not Operating
a. Make sure the circuit breaker is on. b. Check to see if the circuit breaker is overloaded. c. Check to see if the plug is making complete contact in the outlet. d. Check any and all loose wires.
2. Cabinet Temperature Too Warm/Too Cold
a. To gain access to the refrigeration component remove the two screws at the bottom of
the stainless steel louver panel. Lift the panel up and out. b. The cabinet temperature can be controlled, but should not be adjusted unless instructed to do so by the factory.
