Section 1
Tools:
10mm spanner. Rule. Sharp craft knife.
Section 2
Positioning:
• The vent can only be positioned where there are no obstructions and away from the corners, for example, in the centre back panel, opposite the door.
• The best position is low down to provide a through draught with the roof vent.
• To install the vent, the existing glazing panel must be removed and cut to size after fitting the vent.
Section 3
Installation:
• Remove the existing polycarbonate panel from the chosen position.
• From the inside, insert two crop-head bolts into each glazing upright, at each side of the opening.
• Bolt the vent loosely to the uprights, with the handle to the right, as at Fig A.
• Add the PVC profile strips to each long edge of the polycarbonate sheets provided and insert the sheets into the vent slots.
• Squeeze the soft metal flanges on each section of the vent to grip the polycarbonate sheet firmly. Fig B.
• Check the position and mechanism and tighten all nuts.
• Measure the remaining gap and carefully cut the removed polycarbonate sheet to fit, using a sharp craft knife and a straight edge.
