vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eines unserer Qualitätspro­dukte entschieden haben. Im Folgenden werden wir Ihnen
die Funktionen und die Handhabung unseres Gerätes erklä­ren. Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, lesen die Gebrauchsan­weisung in Ruhe durch und benutzen Sie das Gerät in der
beschriebenen Form. Beachten Sie alle enthalten Sicher­heits- und Bedienungshinweise. Bewahren Sie diese Ge­brauchsanweisung auf und geben Sie diese bei Weitergabe
des Gerätes mit. Sollten Sie Fragen oder Anregungen zu die­sem Gerät haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler
oder an unser Service-Team.

1. Bestimmungsg emäße Verwendung

Mi t die sem Ger ät erh alt en Si e ein Sol ar Ma ulw urf-A meis en­Frei Diamant der modernen Art. Das Gerät er zeugt Quarz­schwingungen in einem Intervall von ca. 30 Sek. (AUS: 25
Sek./EIN: 2 Sek.) in einem Frequenzbereich von 400 – 1000
Hz ± 50 Hz. Speziell erzeug te Tonfr equenzen ergaben im
Freilandversuch einen optimalen Wirkungsbereich von ca.
700 m². Je nach Bodenbeschaffenheit kann dieser Bereich
variieren. Da die Tonfrequenzen für viele Bodentiere uner­träglich sind, wandern sie bereits nach wenigen Tagen in
andere Regionen ab. Andere Nützlinge werden durch die
Frequenzen nicht beeintr ächtigt. Die Einsatzgebiete des
Solar Maulwurf-Ameisen-Frei Diamant sind Gär ten, Äcker
und andere Orte im Freien, an denen sich unerwünschte
Bodentiere aufhalten. Die feinabgestimmte Elek tronik mit
leistungsfähigen Solarmodulen gewährt auch bei schlech­ten Lichtverhältnissen eine gleichbleibende Funktion. Die­ses Gerät ver treibt Wühlmäuse, Maulwürf e und ähnliche
Bodentiere.

2. Installation und Wartung

1. Laden Sie das Gerät zunächst im ausgeschalteten Zu­stand vollständig auf! Achten Sie darauf, dass das Solar­Panel ausreichend Sonneneinstr ahlung hat.

2. Wählen Sie einen geeigneten und sonnigen Platz unter
Berücksichtigung des Punktes 7 aus dieser Anleitung.

3. Setzen Sie das Ger ät möglichst tief, mindestens jedoch
zu 3/4 des Alu-Spießes in den Boden ein. Sollte der Bo­den zu fest sein, können Sie mithilfe eines Erddübels
oder einer Schaufel ein Loch vorgraben. Sollten Sie dies
getan haben, achten Sie zw ingend darauf das Loch nach
Einstecken des Gerätes wieder mit Erde auf zu füllen und
fest an zu drücken. Nur so können die Quarzschwingun­gen geleite t werden. Je locker er die Er de, umso schlech­ter werden die Quarzschwingungen geleitet.

4. Zur Inbetriebnahme drücken Sie den Schalter an der Ge­häuseunterseite. Das Gerät ist nun betr iebsbereit.

5. Kontrollieren Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen die Funktion
des Gerätes. Sollte keine normale Funktion mehr gegeben
sein, so ist möglicherweise ein Akkuwechsel notwendig
(siehe Punkt 3) oder das Gerät empfäng t nicht ausrei­chend Sonneneinstrahlung.

3. Akkuwechsel

1. Nehmen Sie den transparenten Gehäusedeckel ab.

2. Vor sichtig das Solarpanel mit den darunter liegenden
Akkus lösen und abnehmen. Achten Sie dabei darauf,
dass die Kabelverbindungen zwischen Solarpanel und
der Platine unter den Akkus intakt und unbeschädigt
bleibt.

3. Entnehmen Sie die alten Akkus aus der Akkuhalterung.

4. Setzen Sie neue Akkus des Typs Ni-MH mit 1,2 V und 850
mA ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität, wie
Innen am Boden angezeigt.

5. Setzen Sie vor sichtig das Solarpanel wieder auf die Akkus.

6. Set zen Sie den transparenten Gehäusedeckel wieder auf
den Gehäusekörper auf (kräftig drücken).

5. Anwendungshinweis

Um einen Maulwurf oder eine Wühlmaus er folgreich und auf
Dauer von Ihrem Grundstück zu vertreiben, gibt es ein paar
Punkte, die bei der Anwendung dringend beachtet werden
müssen: Der Maulwurf darf durch die Maulwurf-Abwehr
nicht „eingekesselt“ werden! D. h. der Maulwur f sollte vom
Haus Richtung Grundstücksgrenze ver trieben werden. Dazu
platzieren Sie bit te einen oder im besten Fall mehrere Maul­wurfabwehrgeräte nahe der Hauswand, aber zwingend vor
dem ersten Maulwurfhügel im Erdboden. Stecken Sie die
Maulwurfab wehr niemals in den Hügel! Versetzen Sie das
Gerät je nach Bedar f in der Regel im 2 – 3 Wo chen-Takt wei­ter zur Grundstücksgrenze (vom Haus weg). Den Zeitraum
sollte man so festlegen, wie die Hügel „abwandern“, sind
die Hügel nach 4 Wochen noch immer an der gleichen Stelle,
überpr üfen Sie bitte, ob das Gerät wirklich funktionsbereit
ist (der ausgesendete Ton ist hörbar). Sollte dies der Fall
sein, schalten Sie das Gerät für 1 – 2 Tage ab und darauffol­gend wieder ein. Die unterschiedlichen Zeitspannen können
vers chie dene Gründe hab en, der Mau lwur f ist res iste nter, die
Bodenbeschaffenheit sandiger, Torf oder Tonböden. Der So­lar Maulwurf-Ameisen-Frei Diamant hat einen integrierten
An-/Aus-Schalter, darauf sollte man zwingend beim Kauf
einer Maulwurfabwehr achten. Das Gerät sollte in bestimm­ten Abständen abgeschaltet werden, das verhindert einen
Gewöhnungseffek t! Dass kurzzeitig nach dem Einsatz der
Maulwur fabwehr mehr Hügel als zu vor im Garten sind, sollte
Sie zunächst nicht verunsichern, dies ist ganz normal. Der
Maulwurf und auch die Freunde aus dem Nachbarsgarten
bemerken eine Veränderung in ihrer Umgebung und möch­ten eruieren, wo diese herkommt. Auf Dauer aber wird ihnen
diese Veränderung zu lästig und sie ziehen von dannen.

Wichtig: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Rasen um das Solar­panel herum kurz geschnitten ist, um die Ladung durch die
Sonne nicht zu verringern.Bei längerer Nicht-Benutzung des
Gerätes, achten Sie bitte darauf, den Schalter auf „OFF“ zu
stellen. So gehen Sie sicher, dass sich die Akkus nicht voll­ständig entladen.

Hinweis: Die Reaktion der jeweiligen Tiere auf unsere Geräte
kann variieren. Die Entwicklung unserer Geräte, Methoden
und Anwendungs-Tipps basieren auf Erfahrungen, Tests und
dem Feedback unserer Kunden. Deshalb ist die Tiervertrei­bung in den meisten Fällen erfolgreich.

6. Sicherheitshinweise

• Elektrogeräte, Verpackungsmaterial usw. gehören nicht in
den Aktionsbereich von Kindern.

• Gerät nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Spannung betreiben.

• In jedem Fall ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät für den jeweiligen
Einsatzort geeignet ist.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen
mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geis­tigen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung oder Wissen
verwendet werden, wenn sie von einer qualifizierten Per­son, die für die Sicherheit verantwortlich ist, beaufsichtigt
wird oder von ihr bezüglich des sicheren Umgangs des Ge­räts unterwiesen wurde und sie die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden hat.

• Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie diese bei
Weitergabe des Gerätes mit.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät so positioniert wird, dass

following, we will explain the functions and operation of our
product. Please take the time to read through the instruc­tions carefully. Please take some time to read through the

operating instructions. Keep this manual safe and ensure
that you include it when passing on the product on to a third
party. If you have any questions or suggestions about this
product, please contact your supplier or our service team.

1. Product description

This animal repeller device is one of the new generation of re­pellers! It generates quartz vibrations in approx. 25 sec inter­vals within a frequency range of 400 – 1000 Hz ± 50 Hz. Out­door test showed that these specially generated vibrations
have an optimum effective area of approx. 700 m², depen­ding on condition of soil. Because the tone frequencies and
vibrations are intolerable for many soil animals, they migrate
to other areas within just a few days. Other useful animals
are not harmed. The Solar Animal Repeller can be used in the
garden, in the field or in other outdoor areas with unwanted
rodents. The finely tuned electronic components and the ef­ficient solar modules guarantee constant function even with
poor light. This appliance not only repels rodents and ants!

3. Replacement of the rechargeable battery

1. Remove the transparent housing cover.

2. Carefully take off the solar panel from the rechargeable
battery which is underneath. When doing so, make sure
that the cable connection between the solar panel and the
circuit board which is underneath the rechargeable battery,
is left intact and is not damaged.

3. Remove the old rechargeable battery from its fitting.

4. Insert a new rechargeable battery size Mignon (AA) and
type Ni-MH with 1.2 V and 850 mA. When doing so, mind
the correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside the bat­tery fitting.

5. Carefully place the solar panel back on the rechargeable
battery.

6. Reattach the transparent casing cover to the casing body.

Insert the device into the ground, so that up to ¾ of the alu­minium stake is beneath the surface. To start up, select the
operating mode on the underside of the housing. The animal
repellent device is now ready for operation. Check the func­tion of the device regularly. In case it does not work normally
any more, a replacement of the rechargeable battery might
be necessary (see point 3).

5. Notes on operation

To successfully and permanently repel a mole or vole from
your garden, there are a few instructions for use that have
to be observed:

The mole should not be ’encircled’ by the mole repellent. To
avoid this, start from the house and move in the direction of

the plot boundary to repel the mole. To do this, place one or
preferably several mole repellents in the ground near to the
house wall – and, most importantly, before the first molehill.
Never bore through a molehill with the mole repellent.

Reposition the mole shocking system, as required but in ge­neral every 2 – 3 weeks, nearer to the boundary of the plot of
land (away from the house). The time should be set to coinci­de with the ’movement’ of the molehills. If the molehills are
still in the same position after 4 weeks, please check whether
the device is actually operational (the transmitted tone can
be heard). If this is the case, switch off the device for 1 – 2
days and then turn it on again.

The differing lengths of time taken to repel the animal can
have diverse reasons: e. g. the mole is more resistant or the
soil contains more sand, turf or clay.

The Gardigo mole repellent system has an integrated on/off
switch – this is important to note when purchasing a solar

operated mole repellent system. The device should be swit­ched off at regular intervals to avoid the animals getting used
to the sound!

Shortly after setting up the device you might find more mole­hills than before in the garden, this shouldn’t discourage you,
it’s quite normal. The mole and friends from the neighbou­ring gardens notice a change in their environment and want
to find out where the change is coming from. In the long run
the sound will be too annoying and they will start moving
away from it.

To successfully use the device:

• Never insert into the molehill.

• When using several devices, never place at all corners of
the plot of land or you will trap the animal in the middle.

• Act tactically: begin at the house and work your way to­wards the boundary of the plot.

• Dig a hole for the device in advance and pack the earth
tightly around the pole.

• Take into account underground ’barriers’ such as pipes,
foundations, flowerbed borders, and concrete slabs: these
slow down the sound waves.

Note: the response of each animal to our devices may vary.
The development of our devices, methods and application tips
are based on experience, testing and feedback from our custo­mers. Therefore the devices are successful in most cases.

Please do not put the repeller directly into the molehill.
Turn it off or pull it out periodically to avoid a habitua­tion effect.

6. Safety instructions

• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be­long in the hands of children. Children are not allowed to
play with the device.

• Only operate the device at its intended voltage.

• Always check whether the device is suitable for the respec­tive place where you intend using it.

• The use of this device is not designed for use by persons
(including children under 8 years) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or the lack of experience or
lack of knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been
instructed in the use of the device by a person responsible
for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on
when giving the device to a third person.

normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting
place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The
icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to
