Installation and Set-up of Round Pole Mount Bracket (PMA2)
The pole mount bracket is design to provide a means to easily and securely connect flat plate wall arms
to round poles of varying diameter from 3-inches to 12-inches. The threaded inserts on the bracket
match the mounting hole pattern of the WB-1 for indoor and outdoor enclosures and the ZCx-WM2Afor
the ZC-5000 and ZC-8000 dome cameras.
For the WB-1 enclosure bracket use the four ¼-20 x 1 inch Philips head screws and washers provided.
For the dome wall brackets use the three #10-24 x 1 1/4 inch Philips head screws and washers provided.
To attach the bracket to the pole; determine the diameter of the pole, cut straps based on the diameter
per the guidelines in table below. If the specific diameter is not shown, use a piece of string to thread
through the side slots of the bracket. Hold bracket with v-notch against pole diameter. Pull String
around pole diameter until the end is met. Mark the string length at this position. Measure the string
from the end to the mark. Subtract 4 inches from this measurement. This is the length of strap required
for the pole used for the installation.
Cut strap at the round hole closest to the calculated length required.
Diameter
Feed strap through slots in the side of bracket leaving equal amount of strap on each side.
Attach perforated piece to one end of the strap. Attach worm gear to other end of the strap. To aid in
handling the ends can be secured with a small piece of tape.

Check to make sure straps are securely tight and not twisted.
Attach the wall bracket for the camera type being installed. Refer to the camera mounting instructions
for attaching camera bracket and camera to the associated wall bracket.
Optional feature for use on dome camera wall arm bracket, the hole in the back of the pole mount
adapter bracket provides clearance for a ¾-inch conduit fitting. Using a 90 degree or right angle elbow
fitting, a sealed conduit connection can be made at the bracket. The hole in the bottom of the bracket
provides clearance for the conduit. The conduit fitting should be attached prior to attaching the dome
camera wall arm bracket.
