Before

any

cleaning

servicing

work

is

carried

machine

and

parts

the

following

precautions

must

be

taken:

the

machine

plug

must

be

removed

from

the

battery

socket,

the

key

must

be

removed

from

the

key

switch

and

the

hand

brake

must

be

applied

soasto

make

sure

that

the

machine

cannot

be

setinmotion

inadvertently.

Important!

Before

changing

the

main

fuse

the

battery

is

directly

to

remove

from

the

battery

cabling

(danger

of

short

circuit).

draw

your

attention

to

the

fact

that

original

parts

and

accessories

which

are

not

supplied

byushave

neither

been

tested

nor

cleared

by

us.

The

incorporation

and/or

useofsuch

products

may

therefore

adversely

modify

design

features

of

your

machine,

thereby

rendering

it

less

safetooperate

from

both

the

active

and

the

passive

point

of

view.

The

manufacturer

does

not

accept

any

liability

damage

occurring

the

parts

other

than

Note

before

Operating:

the

key

switch.

negative

terminal

is

attached

to

the

starter

battery.

the

petrol

oil

level

3.

Making

the

machine

operational:

3.1

The

driving

handle

is

easily

adjustable

to

the

optimum

height

for

the

operator.

For

this

purpose

there

are

two

twist

knobs

on

the

driving

handle

which

canbereleased

for

adjustment

and

then

tightened

to

hold

the

new

position.

3.2

When

borders,

curb-stones,

bricks

or

corners

should

be

swept

the

side

brush

should

be

lowered.

To

lower

the

side

brush

the

knob,

which

isonthe

cable,

should

be

pushed.

The

side

brush

control

is

indicated

on

the

control

panel

bya"side

brush"

symbol.

Important!

The

side

brush

should

onlybelowered

in

the

above

cases

soasto

avoid

unnecessary

dust

creation.

Toraise

the

side

brush

the

cable

handle

should

be

pulled.

The

clamping

of

the

cable

in

the

"up"

position

is

automatic.

3.3

Releasing

the

handbrake

as

follows,

the

blocking

mechanism

on

the

topofthe

driving

wheel

should

be

pressed

with

the

foot.

Thus

the

radial

and

axial

braking

are

released

and

the

machine

is

ready

to

move.

3.4

Starting

the

machine

Pull

the

choke

(indicated

by

the

symbol)

to

the

middle

position.

The

choke

is

not

necessary

when

the

machine

is

already

at

operating

temperature.

When

the

choke

has

been

set

the

key

must

be

turned

past

the1'o'

clock

position

until

the

motor

starts,

the

key

should

thenbereleased

whereby

it

will

remain

in

the1'o'

clock

position.

When

the

motor

does

not

startinabout

5

seconds

the

operator

should

stop

and

start

the

process

again

in

about

20

seconds.

When

the

motor

does

not

start

(e.g.

the

starter

motor

is

defect)

the

hand

starter

should

be

used.

For

this

the

key

should

beinthe

key

switch

andinthe1'o'

clock

position,

the

positioning

switch

is

used

to

adjust

and

open

the

bonnet.

As

soon

as

the

motor

is

working

shut

the

bonnet

and

release

the

positioning

switch.

3.5

The

green

control

lightonthe

control

panel

indicates

that

the

machine

is

ready

to

work.

3.6

Starting

the

motor

also

starts

the

vacuum,

the

main

brush

and

the

side

brush.

4.

Instructions

for

use:

4.1Bythe

useofthe

right

handle-grip

on

the

driving

handle

the

machine

will

starttomove forwards,

the

steering

direction

is

controlled

by

the

driving

handle.

This

forwards

movement

canberegulated

with

the

right-handle

grip

from

0-max.

4

km/h.

When

driving

curves

the

speed

canbereduced

by

releasing

pressure

on

the

right-handle-grip.

4.2

Floors

should

be

cleaned

in

parallel

strips

which

should

overlap

by

ca.3-5cm.

The

fitted

side

brush

will

easily

work

close

to

borders.

When

the

side

brush

receives

light

pressure

it

will

automatically

move

inwards

andonremoval

of

the

pressure

will

return

to

the

wider

position.

4.3Bymeans

of

the

vacuum,

generated

above

the

dirt

container,

the

dust

created

by

the

sweeping

process

is

drawn

to

the

filter,

which

is

positioned

above

the

dirt

container.

Therefore

the

driver

and

other

participants

are

not

irritated

byacloud

of

dust.

4.4Ifdust

suction

is

decreasing,

the

filter

clogged

up

with

the

dust

being

extracted.

In

this

case

the

operator

must

shake

off

the

dust

from

the

filter.

Todoso,

release

plastic

section

from

above

the

dirt

container

to

interrupt

the

vacuum.

The

fine

dust

then

easily

falls

into

the

dirt

container.

The

filterisoperated

as

follows:

The

filter

shaker

is

activated

by

pulling

and

releasing

the

knob

on

the

operators

panel.

This

procedure

willberepeated

3-5

times

in

steps

of

some

seconds.

Remember,

that

the

cover

must

be

closed

before

sweeping

can

continue.

(Take

note:

the

dustier

the

floortobe

cleaned,

the

more

often

this

process

toberepeated).

But

only

use

the

filter

shaker

when

the

motor

is

running!

Otherwise

there

is

the

danger

to

discharge

the

battery.

4.5

When

working

onanespecially

damp

floororpuddles

the

plastic

section

above

the

dirt

container

should

be

permanently

released

so

that

the

water

cannot

be

sucked

into

the

filter

material.

The

suction

then

does

not

work

butondamp

and

wet

floors

there

will be

no

dust

creation.

4.6

For

the

case

where

floors

tobeswept

not

only

have

fine

dust

but

also

large

or

very

light

rubbish,

there

is

fitted.

Thisisoperated

by

the

left

handle-grip.

When

used

this

allows

larger

pieces

of

dirttopass

into

the

main

sweeping

area,

after

the

material

has

passed

into

the

main

area

the

flap

must

be

allowed

to

close

to

re-establish

the

suction

to

the

inner

area.

4.7

After

some

sweeping

time

(how

long

depends

upon

the

typeofdirt

thatisbeing

swept)

itisrecommended

to

empty

the

dirt

container,

tobefound

at

the

rearofthe

machine.

Above

the

handle

in

the

middle

of

the

container

the

locking

mechanism

for

the

dirt

container

canbefound.

This

locking

mechanism

canbeeasily

opened

and

the

dirt

container

easily

removed

to

the

rear.

Replacing

the

dirt

container

tobedone

in

reverse

order.

4.8

After

completing

the

sweeping

process

the

machine

canbestopped

by

releasing

the

right

handle-grip.

The

handbrake

must

thenbelocked

ontoprevent

uncontrolled

movement

of

the

machine.

On

sloping

floors

itisadvisable

to

set

the

driving

wheel

at

right-angles

to

ensure

thatitremains

in

position.

The

locking

of

the

wheel

is

done

in

the

following

way,

the

blocking

mechanism

on

the

topofthe

driving

wheel

should

be

pressed

with

the

foot.

Thus

the

radial

and

axial

braking

are

enabled

and

the

machine

is

unable

to

move.

4.9

After

the

parking

of

the

machine

the

keyinthe

lock

should

be

turned

to

the12'o'

clock

position

and

stored

away

from

the

machine

to

prevent

unauthorised

useofthe

machine.

4.10Toavoid

odours

the

dirt

container

should

be

emptied

at

the

endofevery

operation.

4.7)

4.11

After

usage

we

recommend

to

clean

the

machine.

5.

Operational

errors

and

howtorectify

them:

Motor

does

not

run.-Tank

Batteries

the

red

Battery

connected.

Check

the

fuses.

The

fitted

correctly.

6.

Servicing

and

maintenance:

6.1

Before

any

cleaning

or

servicing

work

is

carried

outonthe

machine

and

before

any

parts

are

replaced,

the

following

precautions

must

be

taken:

the

machine

plug

be

removed

from

battery

socket,

the

key

must

be

removed

from

the

key

switch

and

the

hand

brake

must

be

applied

soasto

make

sure

that

the

machine

The

filter

material

sometimes

needs

cleaning,

or

replacing

ofanew

filter

(only

original

parts).

The

condition

of

the

seals

(in

the

region

of

the

brush

area)

must

be

regularly

checked

and

replaced,

Yearly

inspections

by

the

manufacturer

or

supplier

are

recommended

fore.g.

the

filter

condition,

the

machine

dust

sealed,

the

control

6.5

The

ventilator

of

the

vacuum

motor

must

be

cleaned

regularly,

especially

when

used

in

connection

with

very

fine

dust.

6.6

The

dirt

container

must

be

cleaned

regularly

to

prevent

the

build

upofbacteria

etc.

6.7

The

tyres

should

be

inspected

regularly

and

articles

such

as

steel,

glass,

stones

etc.tobe

removed

from

them.

6.8

After

use

the

machine

should

be

cleaned.
