Ford F150 Transmission Hump Vehicle Base
Printing Spec:
This instruction sheet is for the installation of the Ford F150 Transmission hump
vehicle base.
Note: If the unit is being
mounted in a vehicle with a 4

Leg
Wheel drive shift lever mounted
on the transmission hump, then
the Support Leg must be
removed prior to installaion of
the mount.
Step 1. Remove the passenger
seat.
Step 2. Remove the center
seat. There are 5 bolts that
hold the center seat in place.
3 on the passenger side and 2
on the drivers side.

Step 3. Remove the center
seat mounting bracket from
the floor.
Step 4. Attach the pole to the
mount using the hardware
supplied with the pole.
Step 5. Reattach the center
seat bracket, with the
transmission hump vehicle base
between the bracket and the
floor.

Step 6. Re-install the center
and passenger seats.
Note: Gamber-Johnson has
included a bracket for
attaching a Support Brace
(GJ# 7160-0230).
Attaching the support brace:
Lower Trim Panel
Step 1. Remove the lower trim
panel. There is a screw on the
drivers side and spring clips that
hold it in place.
Step 2. Remove the (2)
mounting screws on the
passenger side and reattach
with the support bracket
mounted in place.
Step 3. Re-attach the lower
trim panel.
Step 4. Attach the 7160-0230
support brace to the pole and
the support bracket with the
hardware suplied in hardware
bag 7120-0802.

Do not remove warning label from product under any circumstances.

Before installation of any equipment always check area for routing of wires / cables and if

drilling is required check area where drilling above and below the drilling area.
High speed vehicle turns may cause a motion attachment product to swivel, interfering with the
•
driver or other equipment.
The Vehicle Base, Upper Pole, Motion Attachment and Dock or Cradle should not be positioned
•
in the area where the airbag will be deployed if it is activated. DO NOT postion the equipment in
front of an airbag. Equipment positioned in front of an airbag can cause serious injury or death if
and airbag was activated, such as in an accident.
The installer and user of this product(s) are responsible for installing and using Upper Pole,
•
Motion Attachment and Dock or Cradle assemblies outside the airbag deployment zone. (See
Product Mounting Disclaimer Below)
If installation of the equipment requires that the equipment be placed in front of an airbag,
•
deactivate the airbag in the vehicle so it cannot be activated in and accident. In order to secure
permission for deactivating the airbag in these circumstances, contact the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration at 1-800-424-9393 to gain permission to do so. If you have any questions or
