Install Vehicle Base:
Move passenger seat to furthest back position. 1.
Pop out the trip clip that is on the front part of the trip, located on the outside passenger 2.

Recommended, drill second hole on inboard seat rail due to weight of the equipment on 3.
that rail. Drill a 7/16" hole located 1-1/8" back from the front hole of the inside seat rail on
the passenger seat. Ensure that this hole is alligned with the front hole. (Figure 1 shows side
of rail to drill into)
Slide base under the seat rails and allign the four holes with the PEMs of the base.4.
Insert and tighten a total of two 3/8" bolts and washers in the rear most holes of the base 5.

Push trim back in place that was moved in step 2. Pop trip clip back in as well.7.

•This assembly should not be positioned in the area where the airbag may be deployed.
•DO NOT position the equipment in front of an airbag. Equipment positioned in front of an
airbag may cause serious injury or death if an airbag is activated.
•If installation of the equipment requires that the equipment be placed in front of an airbag,
the airbag should be deactivated. In order to secure permission for deactivating the airbag
you must contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 1-800-424-9393 to
gain permission to do so. If you have any questions or need assistance, call Gamber-Johnson

•High speed vehicle turns may cause parts of the assembly to swivel, interfering with the
driver or other equipment.
