This device is a docking station for your iPad
Defender Series

® case (GJ Part number 14830). It is designed for use with a Mfi

approved 2.1 amp power supply and mini USB cable (not provided).

WARNING

- Failure to open the case connector cover flab prior to inserting the tablet into the tabcruzer may result in damage to the device
and/or the tablet and will void the warrenty.

Installation:

Install the TabCruzer using the supplied hardware to a mount per the instructions 1.
provided with the mount.

Connect a Mini USB cable to the Mini USB Jack on the back of the TabCruzer (Fig. 1).2.
Connect the 3.5mm Audio Cable to the Audio Jack on the back of the TabCruzer (Fig. 3.

plugged into the TabCruzer.

Route and restrain the cables using the provided cable ties (Fig. 1).4.
Plug a Mfi approved USB car carger into a 12v accessory outlet and plug the USB Cable 5.

into the USB car charger. Note: If using an ignition switched 12v accessory outlet, your
iPad will puase automatically when the vehicle is turned off.

USE:

Open the docking connector cover on the OtterBox Defender series case (Fig 2).1.
Fully depress the Lock Button to open the TabCruzer2.
Slide your iPad into the TabCruzer without seating it onto the docking connector3.

damage the TabCruzer, your iPad or vehicle/stereo system.

operation of this device or its compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Please note the use of this
accessory with iPad may affect wireless performance.
