The following instruction sheet is for the mounting the Yale roll formed
pillar bracket assembly to a pillar of a fork truck.
Mounting the assembly to the pillar: See figure 1.
The bracket assembly is designed to at tach to the roll formed pillar on the
fork truck. The mo unts are held in place with 3/8" dia. hex bolts and
carriage bolts.
1. Attach the clam shell or ex tens ion tube assembly (sold separately) to
adapter bracket 1 with the 5/16" flat washers, lock washers, and he x nuts.
2. Clamp the adapter plates to the roll formed pillar with the 3/8

hardware provided in the hardware bag. The 6" carrage bolts are for
larger roll fo rmed pillars. They will probably need to be cut down
depending on customer p r eference.

the pillar as possible to prevent
bowing the components
Note: 1/4" bolts and flat washers have been provided
in the hardware bag and can be installed in the open
location opposite the lever handles to lock the clam
shells in place.
Note: The 3/8" pivot bolt
can be tightened to lock
the mount in place.
