INSTALLATION
The GPS module is powered via the CF-31 Mag Docking Station power cable. Follow INST-398 for
the dock wiring considerations.
The GPS antenna is located under the gray plastic cover on top of the Mag Dock. The do ck should be
installed so that the gray cover has a clear view of they sky through the windshild.
The hardware bag contians a harness that allows for four inputs and three outputs (I/O Harness) The
ouputs should be connecte d using standard automotive relays.

SETUP AND TESTING
To activa te your account contact Tag Global Systems at 1-800-630-4708. (Service ac tications can
only be processed by the wireless carriers bewteen 9 am and 5 pm Central time, Monday thru Friday.
Actication orders typically take 1 hour to process through the GSM wireless network partners.)
The dock serial number (located on the white label on the bottom of the dock) is the serial number
requir ed for actication. For future reference you c an record your serial number and VIN or license
number here.

Once your ac count is activated make sure the unit is getting good GSM/GPS signals. Use the hole in
the side of the dock housing to view the troubleshooting LEDs on the GPS unit.
