•You must read and follow all of these installation instructions. Failure to follow the installation instructions may result in serious bodily injury or death.
•Do not install or use this assembly in the area in which the airbag on the vehicle may be deployed. The installer and user of this assembly are responsible for installing and using this assembly outside the area in which an airbag may be deployed. (See Product Mounting Disclaimer Below)
•Keep these installation instructions with the product and readily available in the vehicle for future reference of other users of the product.
•Additional copies of the installation instructions can be obtained from Gamber-Johnson. If you need assistance or have any questions, call Gamber-Johnson at 1-800-456-6868.
•Do not remove warning label from product under any circumstances.

Remove Front Passenger Seat:
1. Slide se at f o r w a rd a nd re m ove cove rs at re ar seat bolts.
2. Loosen front left side cover by prying up at rear.
3. Using 5/8" socket, remove rear seat bolts.
4. Slide seat to rear and remove front seat bolts covers by sliding them forward.
5. Disc o nn ect wire harne ss.
6. Remove seat by tilting se at forward and sliding it tow ards the rear of the ve hicle to disengage the seat rail hooks.
7. Remove front floor mat if installed.
Install Vehicle Base :
1. Set vehicle base in place (Fig. 1).
2. Hook seat back into slots
3. Install T-Brackets using provided hardware. The tab of the bracket will be between the vehicle base and the seat rail (Fig. 2).
4. Use rubber mallet to align seat rails into square cutouts in vehicle base (Fig. 3).
5. Replace rear s eat bolts.
6. Reconnect seat wire harnesses.
7. Install wire harness cover plate using provided hardware.
8. Replace rear seat bolt covers and floor mat if desired.

Impo v ing St abil ity:
Gamber-Johnson recommends the use of a Support Brace with this product. Once a lower pole is installed (not included), install a Support Brace (7160-0230, not included). The Support Brace should be installed from the highest position on the lower pole and can be secured to a bolt behind the dash trim panel (Fig. 3) or any other secure point. Install the Support Brace per its included installation instructions.
Further stability can be attained by bolting the vehicle base, though the provided hole, to the f loo r of the car. Caution: Check for wire harn ess, fu el lines or other v ehicle systems bef ore drilling through the floor.

WARNING
•This assembly should not be positioned in the area where the airbag may be deployed.
•DO NOT position the equipment in front of an airbag. Equipment positioned in front of an airbag may cause serious injury or death if an airbag is activated.
If installation of the equipment requires that the equipment be placed in front of an airbag,
the airbag should be deactivated. In order to secure permission for deactivating the airbag you must contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at gain permission to do so. If you have any questions or need assistance, call Gamber-Johnson at 1-800-456-6868.
High speed vehicle turns may cause parts of the assembly to swivel, interfering with the
driver or other equipment.
