MCS EXTENSION BOX

7160-0028

The purpose of this instruction sheet is to illustrate the manufacturer's recommended
meth od of installation of the EXTENSION BOX. This console box can be used as an
addition to either the MCS-ERGOBOX, or the MCS-LOWBOX, or as a stand a lone
product mounted directly to a Gamber Johson Top Plate (p/n 7160-0085 or 7160-0086).
The EXTENSION BOX is intended to mount one two remote head radios.

1. If attac hing the Extension Box to the MCS-ERGOBOX or the MCS-LOWBOX,
there are two slots available on the backside of the Extension Box for fasteners to pass
through into either of the mentioned concole boxes (see FIG. 1).

2. If attaching to another console box, it is
recommended, in addition to Step 1, to attach the box
to the top plate (p/n 7160-0085 or 7160-0086) using
the mounting slots on the bottom of the box and the
included fasteners in hardware bag 7120-0111.

3. For a discreet, low profile so lution, the Extension
Box can be used as a stand alone product mounted
directly to a Gamber Johnson Top Plate using the
included fasteners in hardware bag 7120-0111 (see
FIG. 2).

4. The Exte nsion Box has the ability to have the MC S-CUPHOLD2 attached. There are two
self-clinching nuts on the front of the Extension Box that correspond to two mounting slots on
the MCS - C U P H O LD2 (se e FIG. 3). This mountin g configuration is the sam e as described in
STEP 1.
