The 7160-0013 base is a No-Holes-Bored base designed to fit into 1997 and newer Dodge Dakota and 1997
to 2003 Dodge Durango vehicles with bucket or split bench seats.

INSTALLING THE BASE IN THE VEHICLE

1. Move the passenger seat back as far as possible. Remove the bolts that fasten the front of the

passenger seat brackets to the vehicle floor pan.

2. Without moving the seat, place the base over the front of the seat bracket and re-install the seat bolts.

(Due to the limited space under the base it is easier to add the gusset and pole assembly after the
base piece is mounted).

3. Attach the gusset to the stud on the base with .25-20 nylok nut and .25 flat washer.

4. Place the pole assembly on the base, as shown, and install (2) .38-16 x 1.00 long hex head bolts with .38

flat washers, through the holes in the pole and base, into the threaded inserts in gusset. Install (2) .38-16
x .75 long hex head bolts with .38 flat washers, through the holes in the pole, into the threaded inserts in
base. Tighten down all bolts holding base, gusset and pole together.

5. Attach the motion attachment, mount head, Notepad or NotePort product being used, to the pole

assembly according to the instructions supplied with that product.
