Introduction
The Cardax 125 Encoder is used in conjunction with the Cardax Encoder III software, for encoding and re-encoding Cardax 125 Series proximity cards.
Note: The Cardax 125 Encoder will only operate correctly with the Cardax Encoder III software installed.

Before you begin
Unpack the Cardax 125 Encoder and check the shipment contains the following items:
1 x Cardax 125 Encoder
1 x Cardax 125 Encoder Installation Note (part number 3E0477)
1 x DB9 Female / Female cable
Power Supply Requirements
The Cardax 125 Encoder requires a supply of 13.6 V DC ± 15% with current at 200 mA per Encoder.

Approvals and Standards
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
