READ these instructions. KEEP these instructions. HEED all warnings. FOLLOW all instructions. DO NOT use this apparatus near water. CLEAN ONLY with dry cloth. DO NOT block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manu­facturer's instructions. DO NOT install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. PROTECT the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. UNPLUG this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. REFER all servicing to qualified service personnel. Overview
1. Connect RCA cable to OUTPUT Terminal.
2. Connect AC Power Cord in between Socket and AC 110V power resource. (Or optional External Power Supply DC 13.2V.)
3. Connect AM and FM Antenna for receiving the radio stations.

POWER: Power on and off

VOLUME: Turn to adjust the volume (AUX IN is unaffected by the volume control).

BAND: Switch for AM or FM1 / FM2

MO/ST: Switch for mono or stereo

AUX IN: Connect to external audio source (Media Player or Phone) via 3.5mm AUX Cable

LED ON/OFF: Turn button back light on and off
l
AF : Alternative Frequency If the current signal is weak, assuming an alternative frequency is available for the station, press AF. RDS will search a different frequency with stronger signal with same station.
l
DISP: Display By pressing DISP, the current station will show the Program Service or PS. If the station has no PS available, it will show “NO PS”. Example, if Classic FM is tuned in, the display may show CLASSIC or PS instead of the frequency.
l
PTY : Program Type Radio stations can assign different program types to their shows. These can be picked up by an RDS radio. Press PTY, LCD shows the radio program type, such as news, sports or drama. If the radio station does not assign the program type for the program, LCD shows “NO PTY”.
l
TA : Traffic Announcement Press TA, RDS will automatically search for the traffic or travel stations. It will stop at the travel or traffic station.

Press “BAND” to select FM 1, FM 2, or AM frequencies. There are 10 memory locations in each band.
l
Press “˅ TUNING / TUNING ˄” to select channel. Press and hold for about 2 seconds to enter into automatic scan searching. After receiving a channel, it will stop automatically and begin to play.
Channel Memory Function
● There are 30 user assignable memory channels. FM 1 x 10 / FM 2 x 10 / AM x 10
● First tune to the station you want to store.
● Press “MEMORY”
● Press “1~5” or “+5” and “1~5” To select the number of the memory channel.
● Press “MEMORY” again to confirm memory. Example: Pressing Memory, then 3, and then memory again will set it to 3, in which the display will show CH3.
● To store a memory higher than 5, press “MEMORY” then “+5”, then press a 1-5, and press Memory again. Example: Pressing Memory, then +5, then 3, then Memory again, will set it to CH8.
● Repeat above steps to store more channels.
● To select the memory channel, press “MEMORY UP” or “M1~M5” or “+5” and “M1~M5”. Example: To go to M8, Press MEMORY UP until you reach M8, or press +5 and M3.

Press to turn on/off the LED button backlight.

Same functions as in previous section except for the following additions.
Sleep
● Press “SLEEP” to turn on sleep function and set length of time until unit automatically turns off.
● Maximum set up time is 90 minutes. Increase every 10 minutes for every press.
● When the length of time set is reached, the radio will turn off automatically.
● To turn the radio back on, press the power button.
● If you want to cancel the sleep function, keep pressing “SLEEP” until LCD shows “00”.

Note:
- Remote controller should be aimed at the IR window on the front panel. The optimal receiving distance is about 9 feet (3 meters). The usable distance is about 16.4 feet (5 meters).
- Battery installation of the remote controller:
1. To open up the battery cover (on the back side of the remote controller), Press down on the cap and slide it from the left to the right, then to pull it out.
2. Place in a new battery (battery type: CR2025 3V, with its positive upward).
3. Reverse the actions in statement 1 to close it.
Direct
Pressing “DIRECT” on the remote will allow you to enter in the station directly using the number pad.
