2. Safet y precaut ion

Check packaging and dish w asher im mediately for sig ns of tr anspor t dam age. I f the applian ce is dam aged, do n ot put it into use but cont act y our supplier or cust om er service w it h out delay.
- - Please disp ose of packaging m at erials prop erly .

- - Sit e the d ishw asher and connect it up in accordan ce with t h e inst allat ion in struct ions.
- - The dish w asher m ust not be connected t o t he elect ricit y supply while in stallat ion is being carried out .
- - Ensure t hat t he dom est ic w iring is properly eart h ed.
- - The m ains electricity supply m ust confor m to the d etails sh own on t he dish w asher nam eplat e.
- - Do not connect t he dishw asher t o t he elect ricit y sup ply via an extension cable.
- - Built - un der and built- in appliances shou ld alway s b e inst alled un der a continuous w ork su r f ace w hich it is at tach ed to t he adj acent cupboards, in order to ensu r e that t h e appliance is en t irely stable.
- - After t he appliance has been inst alled, t he m ain s p lug should still be easily accessib le.
- - Not on all m odels:
The plast ic housin g on the w at er in let contains an elect rically oper at ed valve. The connecting w ires ar e in side t he inlet hose. Do not cut t hr ough this hose an d do not im m er se t h e plast ic housin g in w at er.
- - During inst allation, t h e pow er supply cord m ust n ot be excessively or danger ously bent or flat t ened.

4. How t o keep your dishw asher in shape
Aft er Every Wash
Aft er ev ery wash, tur n off t he water su pply the appliance an d leave t he door slight ly ajar so t hat m oist ur e an d odors are n ot t rapped in side.
Rem ov e t he plug
Bef ore clean ing or perfor m in g m ainten ance, alw ays r em ove t he plug from t h e socket. Do not run risks.
No solvents or Abrasive Cleaning Products
To clean t he ext erior and r ubber parts of the dishwasher , do not use solv ents or abr asive cleaning products. Rather , use only a cloth and w arm soapy wat er. To r em ove spot s or st ains from t he surface of t he int erior , u se a clot h dampen ed with wat er and a lit t le w hile vinegar , or cleaning prod uct m ade specifically for dish w asher s.
Moving t he Appliance
I f t h e appliance m ust be m oved, t r y t o keep it in a v ert ical position. I f absolut ely necessary, it can be posit ioned on its back.
Seals
One of the fact ors t hat cause odor s t o form i n t h e d is h w a sh er i s f o o d t h at r e m a in s tr apped in t h e seals. Per iod ic cleaning w it h a dam p sponge will prev ent t his from occur r ing.
The door should not be left in t he open position since t his cou ld
present a t ripping hazard.
Wh en You Go on Holiday
Wh en you go on holiday, it is recom m ended t hat you run a wash cycle w it h t he dish w asher em pt y and then r em ove the plug fr om t he socket , t ur n off t he wat er supply and leave the door of the appliance slight ly ajar. This w ill help t he seals last lon ger and prev ent odor s f r om f orm ing within t he appliance.
