General Information

The Model 12566-002 Dual Hub Replacement Kit is designed to be used with cast aluminum enclosures.
This kit includes the following components:

1 Gasket, flat hub
1 Gasket, tapered hub
4 Screws

Installation

NOTE

Removal of Old Hub

1. Loosen the four screws securing the handset or speaker amplifier assembly to the rear enclosure and

unplug the station.

2. Note the location of the internal wiring as it must be reconnected after the installation of the new hub.

The wiring details can also be found in the original installation manual for the enclosure. Disconnect
internal wiring. Do not
insulate the terminals from each other.

3. Remove the conduit from the hub to be replaced.

Installation of the New Hub

1. Identify which of the gaskets you will need to use. One gasket is designed for enclosures with a

tapered bottom; the other is designed for the enclosures with a flat bottom. You will use only one of

2. Align the holes in the gasket with the openings in the hub.

3. Alig n the hu b/gask et on the e nclosure and secure using t he four new sc rews. Make sure the gask et is

between the hub and the enclosure.

4. Reinstall the conduit to the new hub.

5. Reattach the internal wiring. Reference the original installation manual for the enclosure for wiring

details.

6. Reattach the amplifier.

7. Re-apply the supply voltage to the station.
